So yeah, I don't journal. I made a lot of good friends here a few years back when I lived in Colorado... then I moved to Florida and life kind of got turned up side down. Family fell apart, health fell apart, eh... you get the picture. I've been here just in the shadows. I guess I felt like if I were logging in and reading posts that it was the same as counting calories, it isn't. DUH! I got put on some crazy BC pills for my girl problems, in the past I thought how can a pill make you gain? Well, it's the hormones ladies! BC pills are pure hormones. If you have too much estrogen you carry more weight. Point blank. Anyhow, I'm off them now, my own doing. Took a while but I got off them and am med free and plan to stay this way. I'm down just about 4 lbs right now. I went back up to 150 from the meds and poor eating and just this morning I'm 146.

I'm doing Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred and will incorporate her book Making the Cut in a few weeks. I recently thought about adding more cardio (indoors minus a gym membership) so I will add Slim in 6 BIU and/or RIU 2-3 days per week. The last 10-20 are hard to get off. I'm eating at my BMR and working out. My calories are unprocessed for the most part. I am a fruit junkie!

Even though my scale was down a pound today (I've also went from weighing everyday to once per week, pay off is huge!) I feel big. Why is that? I drank 120 oz of water yesterday and woke up drinking more. Being a woman is pretty sucky sometimes!

I added a new "friend" Michele to my list today... we're pretty similar. I promised her she'd see results if she counted calories and worked out. Science right? Well, it's time for motivation people. We all need to get our asses off our seats and work out. Eat the RIGHT calories... Have a bite of something indulgent and leave the rest. One slice of pizza on a special night, not two. One helping of the pasta and the rest veggies... Come on! We all know we feel better when we do the right thing. How horrible do we feel when we over do it on the eating? Like HELL! So it's time to stop! Get on the horse and ride it baby! Ride it all the way to the end.

We'll be counting calories for life. To lose or to maintain.... let's do it right! I'm back and I'm dedicated!
