It may be related to the icky flu, but since Monday I have had a terribly upset stomach. Especially in the afternoon I have to spend an embarassing amount of time in the bathroom.
I am taking Alli, but I really don't think it's related. Alli trips have their own unique characteristics and this is just more like really awful diarrhea.
One of the BEST things about starting this healthy eating last year was that almost immediately my cranky stomach started feeling better. My body seemed to get more, ahem, regular with healthy food. I think my eating has been really clean lately, with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I do eat Healthy Choice soup for lunch and 100 calorie packs, so I still have some processed foods in my diet. Overall though, I can't imagine what would be causing this problem.
It's really unpleasant and crampy and normally I would just say I should eat healthier, but at this point I'm not sure what to do.
On a side note: I think I will dip down to 178 this week, and I'm REALLY excited.

given that the alli gets in and out of your system so quickly, maybe you should not take it for a few days, until you get back to normal? having that extra oil in your system is probably a mild stress when your system is normal, so it can handle it, but i could see if your system were out of whack the alli might be too much (i.e., the alli isn't causing the problem, but it could be exacerbating it). i hope you feel better soon! |

Keeping food logs and counting calories is completely compatible with OA. Overeaters Anonymous (OA) advocates abstinence in-between... Read more
