My husband and I got to go see the Ten Tenors last night. I loved it! and he thought they put on a good show. It was non-stop music from all countries and era's. I took the staff photos for the Performing Arts at UF and in trade they let me pick out tickets for any of their upcoming shows. So the two tickets would have cost $110 - so this was a treat I would have never afforded myself.
My husband wanted me to call ahead and see if I would be able to fit in their seats, but I was just too embarrassed to do that. (That happened not long ago when we went to see a play) But I've been feeling small - my pants are all a little looser, so I decided to take a chance - AND I FIT!! I had to lean toward my husband so my arm didn't push into the lady beside me - so I was aware of how nicely they all seem to fit - so this will be my new goal, to sit in a theatre without my arms spilling over into the other seats!!
Wow that was a treat, I heard they were awesome, lucky girl. That is so wonderful to see results like this, My girlfriend and I flew to Utah and her seat belt didnt fit and they had to get an extender, she was so embarrassed she said thats it when we get back we are joining TOPS, she lost 116 lbs. she was the queen that year she looked fabulous, but sad to say she gained it all back. Now we dont talk about it. You keep going, we will work on getting healthier. Hugs |
Free tickets and a night out - that is great! Anyhow I know what you mean by checking if you can sit in a seat. I went to a party last night and sat in a dinning room chair that my big hips wouldn't allow me to get out. The chair clung to my rear end. Embarrassed I was, walking around with a chair. But then again I made humor out of it. Saying that was the only way I was able to take the chair home with me since it was so pretty. Take care and God Bless. |
Keep up the good work. God blessed you! And now you know just how wonderful you are doing! |
Congrats! I'll bet that was an awesome concert!!! |
Wow how awesome! I bet the copncert was so refreshing! I know the feeling about chairs - in the past I have been stuck in two and broken two (or you could here it cracking( - I hate chairs with arms - and this was when I actually was 100 pounds lighter.
What a great goal Lorraine - keep up the great work! |
remember when I broke the chair at the dog park last year! no one said a word - but I know what they had to be thinking! |
