Entry Taking control of my life.
Nov 06 2009 09:27

Despite my last optimistic post, I have completely fallen off the wagon. I'm ashamed. I've officially gained almost 4 pounds, and am almost back to the 170s, which is a place I promised myself I would never go again. I feel like my laziness is taking over my life. I'm too lazy to make myself a good meal. I'm too lazy to actually exercise. I'm too lazy to go over to the computer and log what I've eaten. It's main reason I'm gaining weight, I know it. Also, I'm too lazy to clean up my house, and this mess is driving me crazy. I'm losing everything in this sea of stuff. The mess is taking over too. So, I've decided something. I'm going to do it for one day. Just today. I'm going to eat right, exercise for half an hour, clean up my entire room or as much as I can in one day, and properly take care of myself and my family. My son deserves a mother that takes care of him right. He does, and I want to be that kind of mom. I want to be the one that makes breakfast every morning. I'm just sick of feeling like because of my decisions my life is already headed down the wrong road and I can't stop it. It's how I felt when I started my weight loss journey 8 months ago. Heh, 8 months and only 20 pounds gone? I've been slacking off bad. Enough. I'm in control now. Take that laziness.

Wish me luck everyone, it isn't going to be easy.

Hey Hope...long time :(

I think that seeing the negative side of an unhealthy lifestyle and how it can affect family is just enough to get you back on track.

I know you can do it and finally have the type of lifestyle you'd like for you and your family...u know everyone here at cc has ur back!

I'll share a trick that worked for me and hope others can share one with you as well.  I used to look at my back in a mirror and when I saw the mess back there, HUGE love handles and allSurprised, it just took my appetite away (I luv my back now).

Keep at it...I know you have it in you...buds!
