Dude I really hope I get this job. I am so tired of the creepy shuttle driver here. He does the DD run in the morning (i resisted it today) and he will act like its the end of the world when I dont order coffee, which makes me wonder does he do something to my coffee? Ewww dont even want to think about it. Also he lingers around my desk after I saw I dont want anything. Like today I said no and he started walking away and then turned and was like "Its cold out side." Ummm no shit buddy! ahaha. God hes creepy.
Man I got soooo pissed yesterday, the one parts guy came upstairs with one of our big printer toners and I told him he can sit it on one of the filing cabinets. His response was "Nah im going to leave it right here in the middle of the floor of the office". Guess what the asshole did, put it right in the middle of the floor and left. My office manager came through giggled and just moved the damn this over to the side of my desk. GOD I WANT A NEW JOB SO BAD.
Remind me to never offer you coffee...haha. JK. That guy does sound creepy. I don't know what people are so afraid to say "not interested, thanks". I do it all the time, well, when I have to. For what it's worth, I know that the grass always seems greener with the potential of getting hired at the gym, and you are anxious to say goodbye to your current job because it blows pretty bad; however, you also know that despite all the bullshit you endure there, you are very lucky to have your job, and hopefully it is a secure one. I hope you get the job at the gym, I really do, but if you don't, you should start thinking of ways to make your current work environment more appealing to YOU. Just my advice. The last thing you want is to be stuck and miserable (like you are now). That isn't good for you, or anybody around you (at work or at home), because it poisons your ability to work and be productive (and to be happy, duh). |
ahaha. I have told the guy "not interested, thanks" but apparently he didnt get the hint and Ive told my office manager in which shes done nothing. I wont even bother tell the GM cause hes useless in general. I know thats what I keep telling myself that I should be lucky that I do have a job at all. But I dont think its secure if my OM keeps taking responsiblilties away from me that I have no problem handling. Funny thing is the more I want to leave the more productive I am. Mostly cause I will feel bad if I leave some one with a mess of unfinished paperwork. That happened to me and it really sucks to have to go through everything. Ive already tried making peace w. our sales dept and making it so that there are no more papers missing from deal and motorvehicle but their assholes and pretty much threw my attempt in the garbage. |
Well it takes two to tango. I'm glad that you are making a valiant effort to make peace and work as a team, but if they aren't willing to be as mature as you, F them. I used to work at Ford back in HS and I know exactly what you are going through there, trust me. |
Yea from what ive heard from alot of people that have come and gone in this dealer or others that have worked at other dealers, everything that is done here is done ass backwards than it should be. |
Hey Gem, sorry to hear more trouble at work. I also hope the job at the gym works out, but in the mean time start wearing headphones! Block those F*ers out hahaha :) And brrr it is cold out today. I am excited for winter though, I love Christmas season! |
Me too! I love xmas and thanksgiving. Presents and lots of rich tastey food. YUM! Yea i wouldnt be able to get a way with that, they would just stand there and bug me. aha. I dont want to put my hate on everyone cause there are a couple really genuinely nice people that work here too. |
Oh my god, gem that guy sounds so creepy!! You're office if full of them. I think he's trying to flirt but it comes off creepy. Good luck! |
I think the car dealer business is in general full of them. Except technicians, they are the only ones that arnt jerks or creepy, at least in my experience they're not. eeep! 5 hrs left, Im having a really great hair day though. Which is sweet cause thats a rare thing. Maybe thats a good sign. |
Haha at least you're having a good hair day! That is a sign of a great day :) |
