Entry 1/2 Marathon Training's Long Run
Sep 26 2009 11:55

...called for 7 Miles, since I never stop after starting a lap around the park where I run it turned out to be 7.47 miles.  I must admit it was no where near as difficult as I thought it may be.

I'm thinking per all the advice on running sites that it should have been a comfortable pace, which I started out with, but after a few laps the pace did bore me, so I picked it up and went for comfortably hard pace.  I hope the next 8, 9, 10, etc... mile long runs go just as well...oh, and to bad I didn't read about the torturous move of shirt rubbin' against nipples, OUCH!Yell before today's run!

Everyone enjoy their weekend, and ah, ah, ah, no bad foods, and stay active...do somethin' fun.

the extra mileage change is like change in your edurance pocket! good luck.

my race is sat. and i've only been doing 7 and 8 milers this week so i'm nervous... i feel like even though I've run 12, I won't be able to make it!

LOL I read about nipples bleeding during marathons... what inspirations!

Thanks for writing in my journal.  You seem to be doing great with your training and I wouldn't be surprised to see a marathon in your future.  My husband has a problem with the bleeding nipples thing and he uses liquid band-aid which seems to help.  Also, they make these things called nip-guards which you should find at a running store if you need them.  Good luck with your races!
