I Wanted To Change The World
By Unknown Monk, 1100 A.D.
When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family. Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world."
Hopefully it works, not that I aspire to change the world, just my family.
And on to my life:
I was down to 252 a few days ago.
... and then my parents visited.
Somehow, I'm not entirely sure HOW, it turned into an advertisement for CC-- seriously, I mean they should be paying me. And it resulted in my parents now knowing just how committed I am (was?) to this. They are both overweight, as well.
Now it seems that next semester I will be living at home with them, and we will be working together to lose weight.
I am not confident that this will be successful... so not confident, in fact, that I basically blew my weightloss outta the water over these past few days.
Currently up to 256. Yes, I know most of that is probably water weight, and if I get back on track today (which will be made difficult by the fact that I forgot my lunch, grr) I should be back down to 252 by Monday.
But still. FAIL.
Hopefully this will work, though, and my whole family will be healthier for it.

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
