My horse vacation went really well. Did my filly a lot of good. She did think this big white rock with dark moss on it was going to eat her the first few days out on the trail.
2 of the riders got bucked off on the second day when the camp host's dog ran out to greet us. I stayed on.
But after I got home the Palomino filly that was injured so she she couldn't go on the trip was ready to ride. I've got bucked off her twice since I got home. First time was no biggie but the second time knocked me out. She is being ridden in the round pen only for awhile. LOL
My diet has suffered but not a whole lot. My pants still fit. Time to get back on the wagon.

Ok so I'm not planning on eating too healthy for the next week. I'm off for a 8 day all girl, horse camp out. I think there are 10 of us now going. And a few that will show up for just several days. Most I have at least met before, although I don't really know them. I was taking my 2 young mares, but the palomino(Honey) got injured, so she cant go. Poor Holly will be tired when we get back. Bo gets to stay home as I do not want to ride him in the mountains with his slider's on.
I know for a fact that someone is bring smores. I can't possibly resist one of those. Takes me back to my days in Brownies and Girl Scouts.
The dinner line up so far: Lasagna, spaghetti, casidias(sp), fried chicken, and one night out to eat at a tourist place. So I will try to hard to not be a pig, and have to make up for it for 2 months afterward.
Not planning on riding every minute, taking some history books to re-read too. I think I plan on vegetating some.

I made it through a 4 day show and did not gain anything. I didnt lose anything either, darn.
I placed in every class, Whooppie!!!! Bo Bo won himself a bag of horse cookies, which he loved. And I made some points. It was the last club show of the year. I took a lesson from a trainer that I know, that is also a Judge and he gave me some great pointers. Stuff to work on for next year.

I blew it yesterday, I stopped at the store and bought a half gallon ice cream and a can of Hersey's choc. And It didn't even make me sick.
Thanks to VPr for the pep talk. If your ball is rolling, mine surly will start soon.
I did ride 3 of my horses yesterday also. My 2 fillies need to be rode more. Both are in high gear everywhere they go. I have a show on the 20th. Its the year end Classic for the Reining Club, a 3 day event with a Futurity and Derby. My goal at the show is to Zero every maneuver. I can Try! I can Try! I can Try! LOL

I forgot my birthday this year, oh well. But I did go off my diet for the 3 days leading up to it. I must have known something. Anyway, Mr Scale still likes me after 3 days of eating some things I haven't been eating in a long while. Strawberry Sunday(twice) and a hamburger and fries. I had a hard time getting back on the healthy eating.
P.S. The hamburger wasn't that good, but the fries were great

I managed to place in 3 out of my 4 classes this weekend. HAPPY HAPPY!
I even had a hamburger from the deli stand and managed to lose another pound this weekend. HAPPY HAPPY!
It was really hot and I took 18 bottles of water for the 3 days, and drank the last one on the way home.
Going in Tuesday for another Reining Lesson. I need them.

Since Winter was so long, I'm not complaining about the heat. Over 100 degrees for the last week. I have been riding at 7:30 AM before I go to work at 10. Last night at 6:30 it was still 98.
Yesterday A Customer at the Quilt Shop asked me if I was sick, since I had lost so much weight. I assured her I wasn't sick. But thought it was kinda funny as I used to think the only way I would get thinner was to get sick.
I fit into a purple western pants and shirt today that has been hanging in my closet for 4 years. Yahooooooooo
No wight loss today but I feel good anyway.

Mr scale is sure taking his time these days. I finally lost another pound, 174# today. And that is great!
Its been really hot here for several days. When I got home from work last night it was still 96, so no riding. It was way to hot to put my horse through the routine of practice. So I laid down for awhile to wait for it to cool off, and went to sleep instead. It was almost dark when I woke up. But it was cooler. LOL
BTW Now that the pound came off, I'm really glad I said no to that BEER on Thursday.

the Darn Scale has been stuck on 175 for 4 days now. And I've been extremely Good too. At the horse how yesterday hubby ate everything in site and I was GOOD. I even turned down a Black Butte Porter, my favorite beer TOOOOOO. But I know that MR Scale will eventually be nice to me
The Show was good, I didn't enter just watched. It was a Reined Cow Horse Show. I went to watch a trainer that I used about 6 years ago ride. He has improved. He got the top 3 scores for the day. I have a filly with him. So i broke down and made an apt for a lesson from him before the next show Aug 1st.
Oh Ya I got 2 new show shirts yesterday. Both the 1950's look, and they fit tight now so I'll be able to wear them for a long time. And yes they are long sleave as I'm thankfull you have to wear long sleave shirts. My arms are getting really disgusting with hanging loose skin.

Its Been over 20 Years since the scale has said 175. Although CC says I should weigh 130, I'm really shooting for 150. Only 25# to go. Yahoo. Its taken me 5 years to drop the first 95#. The last 25# will eventually leave to. I just can't give up. And I need to ride my horses more. LOL ( I have 3 to ride. Soon to be 4 as soon as my 3 Year Old Filly comes back from the trainers) I have a Reining Show Aug 1st. so I really need to ride more.
