I got to post a loss last night of 1.6 so "officially" in class I have lost -38.1 but for my overall at home loss (which I use as my "official" loss) is 41 pounds as of this morning. I have re-thought my goal weight. I don't think I will look healthy at 127.8, I think it will make me look too thin so I am going to go in the middle and shoot for 135.8 as my official goal weight. That is right in the middle of where Dr. A wants me to be at to be in a healthy BMI. I would love to be there by April when I go back to see her. So as of this morning I am 2 pounds away from my half way point and I have just started my 18th week for class. Just two more for foundation and then I start maintenance classes in December even though I will not be at maintenance yet. I would love to be able to say that I have lost an additional 43 pounds in another 4 months. I am trying to stick to my meal plan this week and next to make these last two weeks big ones for me at class.
There was only two of us there last night. R & I both had a good week but C and L didn't show up. I have a feeling that L won't come back. She mentioned to me a couple of weeks ago that she was off the meal plan and had been for a month and was maintaining so she didn't feel like she should continue with the class. I hope she will do well, but the chances are that she won't because she doesn't really know how to maintain and will be back to her beginning weight and then some in a year. I am not sure about C but I hope he will be back next week. He said that he was going to continue with maintenance classes on Wed. night at 5:00 p.m. Which I have decided to go to that class too and not have to drive all the way up north once a week for one hour & fight all that traffic.
I know that despite the expense and time every week, this class has been a huge benefit for me. I have learned to eat better and be accountable for my calorie consumption. I have started to exercise more and I feel much more confident in my skills as I move forward. I know that this is always going to be a struggle for me but I also know that I can do this and never, ever, EVER be morbidly obese again and that is priceless!
How many times a week can I eat tilapia?
There is no limit on tilapia. Certain oily fishes and regional fishes may limited due to their risk of contamination with mercury and other substances... Read more
