Hey everyone! I just wanted to report in. My weightloss has been fantastic! By that, I mean that I have been eating 1700-1800 calories and I steadily lose weight! Even though it isn't as fast as it was before (it's now about 1-1.5 pounds a week), it's definitely working better on the whole. My weight doesn't fluctuate NEARLY as much as it used to.
For example: This weekend (for 2 days) I went out with friends and ended up consuming like 3000-3500 calories each day. I was completely depressed about it, because I was positive I would gain back a pound or two and ruin 1-2 weeks of work. Guess what happened when I got on the scale today? I was DOWN a pound. Yeeeah. That was never possible when I was regularly eating 1200-1300 calories.
I'm just so happy about my metabolism not being screwed anymore. It's much easier for me to stay within my limits and now I know if I do slip up once every couple of months.. it's not going to kill me. Life is gooood :)
Awesome. It's so nice to come across people with a healthy attitude towards food. You look lovely in your pictures btw. How long have you been losing weight? I had never really been particularly thin as a kid so for me when I lost weight each new "face" and "body" I got was all brand new to me! I'm maintaining now - lost 50lb over about six years - and whilst I like to have good healthy food on a regular basis I've also got more confident about having a lovely night with mates and not worrying about it. My weight is never affected by a night or a weekend... |
That's so awesome! Congrats on your weightloss, you look awesome too! I've been losing weight for like 2 years now.. I've been around the same weight for a year. :( I've just now started to make the scale come back down again though so hopefully I will see a lot of improvement this year! |
