I'm back!

I'm back! I had my baby on July 7 and have already lost all the pregnancy weight. So now I'm back where I was before learning about the pregnancy.

Up we go

Its heading back up-- the scale that is.

And I've been so tired lately. At the very least, I'm getting on the treadmill even though its at a very slow pace.

How can I learn to live on 1200 calories? Why does the slightest variation from that mean an increase in weight?

So it goes up again

Why is it so easy to gain weight? One evening can blow 2 weeks worth of loss. It's so frustrating - especially when I read how many calories it's supposed to take to gain an extra pound. I can gain weight seemingly by breathing in the aroma of a cherry pie.

Must improve my dedication

These are the things I know-- I have to stick to the 1200 per day to make any difference in my weight. If I don't start working out again, I'm just going to be in that endless mouse wheel of not getting anywhere fast. Depression feeds on itself. The more dedicated and the more work I put into this, the less depressed I'll feel. Barely trying feels horrible.

the weekend

Well I thought I totally blew it this weekend after all. But It wasn't too bad. I did 1900 calories on Friday and 1500 on Saturday. Could've been far worse.

I don't get it

How can I weigh 177 on Sunday and 180 again this morning? I wonder if it takes a couple of days for a bad day to catch up with you? I had a bad day on Saturday after being good all week but was heartened that the scale was still on 177. I'm back to extreme frustration now.

Getting Married

So if this isn't motivation for me-- I don't know what is. I'm getting married -- it's a second marriage for me but I would like to look like I did the first time around as far as body weight is concerned.
