I've decided to start keeping a daily journal. I don't always have time to figure out the calories if I'm un prepared. So starting today I will post a food diary every day (Monday - Friday) and a Summary for the weekend. I will enter the foods I plan to eat, and then update with a smile face if I stick with the plan.
Breakfast: 2 pieces wheat toast (140); 1 tbl Creamy Peanut Butter (95); 1 Medium Banana (105); Tea with splenda and skim milk (20)
YUMM!!!
Lunch: 1 can tuna (120); 1 tbl Miracle Whip (40); 2 tsp Honey Brown Mustard (10); 1/2 cup Minute Rice Ready Serve brown and wild rice (115)
Dinner: Thanks to Hungrygirl.com I will be having chicken breast with fire roasted tomatoes and garlic cooked in a tinfoil bag (220) with a side of zuccini and squash (30-50 calories). Sounds sooo yummy.
I'm going to do wall push ups today when I go to the bathroom. I'm not going to count them. I'm just going to do as many as I can each time. And I will be taking Bella for a walk or 2 this afternoon, plus I walked her this morning. Any extra movement is better than no movement. Small changes can add up quick right???
I admit I was weak last night and when my husband pulled into Culver's after our guitar lesson which was very trying last night, (no excuse) I ordered a small chocolate cone. All I had for dinner was a cup of home made minestrone soup. I couldn't stand it and had to peak this morning and my weight hadn't changed. But, good idea I am going to start journaling what I eat, because sometimes I forget to put it in my food log. Keep up the good work and good luck to both of us this weekend. Grammie |
