Well, once again I'm back with the intention of really concentrating on ME! I was dating a lot but figured that it was purely out of boredom so I would spend that time on me!
Took Nelson for a walk this am (60 min) and my legs/back are really feeling it so it might be best to ease into it. I need to work on my girlfriend relationships and my health/fitness. I must get fitness into my daily life so that's my plan.

The last couple months have been busy. Last Monday the movers came, packed and moved me in one day. By Wed I was unpacked with everything put away and by Thurs I had groceries and pictures hung. I'm in my new home, Nelson has a yard and a doggie door and I have a view from my office (street view but still a view). I love my new home and feel really comfortable. I have space now in my family room for my yoga mat and yesterday did a 30 min workout. I definitely overdid things during the move and my back has paid for it but it's doing much better. Yesterday I came down with a cold and feel pretty lousy. I did have a great appt with my builder and so glad I work from home so I can still get things done. If I feel a little better I'm going to sign up at LA Fitness (if I can afford it) so I can start going to the gym also. I'm so out of control with my eating, drinking and sedentary lifestyle that I have to get my head into it. I do have healthy food in the fridge so I really have no excuses but laziness on my part. I plan on reaching out to my friends more, becoming more active with them also. It's bad for me to just sit around. Portion control!!!!!

John and I got back together last nite. Have had my share of first dates over the last several weeks and glad I'm done with that. New goal . . . stop drinking the wine. I really think that if I just cut that out I will lose weight.

I've completed 3 full days on the Medifast plan and the scale shows me down 4.6 lbs. So far I'm thrilled. The downward movement of the scale is exciting. I'm sure that it's just water weight so far but it's still a start! No wine either!

Well, I did my first day on Medifast. Followed the plan and did not drink wine. Lost 2.6 lbs. I'm sure that's not realistic but it is encouraging. Very strict and food is powdered so I just pretend that I'm an astronaut . . . NOT. The shakes and bars are good, tho.

Today I'm starting the "medifast" program. That means no wine for 28 days. I'm ready to do this cuz I've definitely pigged out in the weeks prior and as a result, my weight is at the higest EVER. Put an offer on a home yesterday and should hear today. That's been on my mind but I feel good, nervous but good, about it.

Well, it's the end of the week. Have a busy day planned so I'm a happy girl. Early appt with bldr, look for fabrics for client, noon client mtg and late lunch with friend. I'm thinking about checking into Medifast. Anyone have any experience or input?

Well, my wow Wednesday turned into a wreaked Wed. I'm in my "down in the dumps" mode again. I even cancelled my training session. What is the matter with me. I just want to be by myself, anti-social and sleep. Depression? I think so.

I will be working out with Susan today. Just had a 55 min walk with Nelson. Doing an inventory of my life and realizing my worth as a woman and a person. It's about time. It's only taking me 55 years. It helps to not be dating and to spend time alone working on me and my health/well-being.

Well, just got back from a 60 min walk with Nelson, my dog. He's seems to enjoy it as much or more than I do. It bothers my low back but steadily, with continued exercise, I will get stronger. Yesterday Susan worked me out on the "bosu" trainer. Boy is that challenging. Working with hand weights on the upper body while balancing on the 1/2 shere and then doing squats with the weights while balancing. Push-ups are also challenging because of the balance issue. Great core workout also. Still over on my calories and wine. Oh, what to do!!!!
