Nothing like a cold drink of iced tea when you are really thirsty! That is what I thought until yesterday. I opened my bottle of icetea on my lunch break, gulped down a huge swallow of icedtea and almost puked on the spot! It was a bottle of pancake syrup! I had emptied the remains of pancake syrup into a smaller bottle. When I went to pack my lunch yesterday, I grabbed that bottle and topped it off with about an ounce of tea and off I went. It was NASTY. NExt time I will label my bottles of leftovers.
I am going to be fruit picking this afternoon. I bought a pole extension fruit picker so that I could give the birds a run for their money. There will still be a lot of the persimmons that I cant reach so they will be fine. The squirrels grab one and eat one bite and toss it down and grab another one. They are so wastefull. I am going to some of them in the dehydrator. I have both kinds of persimmons... hiyachi and the fuyu.
I am trying to drink more fluids. enjoyed a cup of blueberry tea last night. It was sooo good.
got lots to do today. see ya all later. love, Karen
Have a God day!!
Karen - that is so FUNNY! I can relate - a cook once gave me what I thought was a cheese bun to try that he had made...turns out it was mandarin orange bun - it was yucky to be expecting cheese and to get orange! LOL - If I win the big one I will buy you a car AND a labeller!! ;) Happy fruit picking! Love you! Have a God day! |
I can so relate to your tea story. I finally just quit reusing such types of containers to save myself and the rest of the family from such experiences. {{{{{{SUPER HUGE HUGS}}}}}} Have a God day, V |
