236.6/no counting.

Some things occurred to me this weekend:

I imagine Disney's early animated films were probably thought to be works of art. Especially when one considers the painstaking attention to detail needed to create those amazing backdrops on painted glass.

I always cry at birthing scenes in movies.

Everything I've ever truly yearned for, I've gotten.

I've yearned for a whole lot of money.

I still don't have it.

Have you heard of Destino?  Its a film Salvador Dali worked on with Disney (they were close friends).  It was never finished until recently - and is truly a work of art.  The YouTube clip gives you the idea... but if you ever have the chance to check out a screening (I saw it at a Dali exhibit), I would highly recommend it!
