When was the last time you were weighed? Can you check your logs and see what may have caused it? Are you having your TOTM?

Don't get depressed, just try and stay positive. Remember that gaining weight often sets people off on a slippery slope, and you're not going to be one of those people.

Remember daily fluctuations and water retention. Did you eat right before you went to the doctors? One time, I got on the scale and it looked like I gained two pounds, and I started freaking out until I remembered that actually, I just ate lunch. The next day, I weighed on an empty stomach and was fine.

If there isn't a reason like this, then, well, maybe you have gained four pounds. But so what? You'll lose it, and learn from it. You're capable and motivated, and nothing is going to stand in your way. These hiccups in the road are just that -- hiccups -- and you are going to get through just fine.

I believe in you. :) You CAN do it.

its okay, sweetheart. we all have our times. maybe you just need to pay more attention. or maybe its just stress. or possibly i could be the muscle your building giving you the extra weight. many things can fluctuate your weight. just stay strict with your diet and it will pay off.

I'm under the fierce opinion that doctor's scales always lie. Between the clothes, time of day they weigh you (plus the appointments always happen to be right after some meal or another), and the fact that they never move that little marker just to the right spot to balance the weight (I'd be much more meticulous), I always subtract a few pounds from the doctor's reading. Plus, I always get nervous when I go to the doctor's office, so I drink a lot of water to calm me down... which adds even more weight to the scale.

Damn doctors... they forcibly weigh you, and then offer you a lollipop. I mean, what's up with that? ;b

Some times when you take one step forward you also take 3 steps backwards.
