So, I've officially completed week 1 and lost about 4 1/2 lbs. I've really become aware of what I put in my mouth. It's difficult to watch calories and carbs. It seems everythings has carbs, except for a piece of cardboard, and that probably does, too!
Saw a guy on Dr. Oz who went on a meatless diet for 28 days and lost about 30 lbs. So my DH & I decided to try some soy burgers...not bad! The guy on TV said he would slice a tomato and put a little hummus on it, then the soy burger. I tried the bruchetta soy burger this way and it was very good! Only 90 calories.
We went out to eat last night and that's where I blew it. It's just too difficult to be in a restaurant at this point and not get yummy food. I think I'll just stay away for awhile. It was all so salty, too. Thirsty all evening.
Week 2 here we come...plans to exercise at least 4 days this week.
How come I’m not losing weight?
Your workout routine is commendable but you are eating too many calories to lose weight. 1500-1700 calories a day is more like a maintenance... Read more
