I've been feeling ill today. My stomach is just bothering me. Every time I eat I feel like I'm going to throw it back up. I stayed home all day.

I'm happily sitting in my new reclyner as I type this. I'm happy to have it although my brother/nephew didn't pick it up until late. I was worried that they wouldn't make it to the warehouse in time.

I was crying last night and some this morning. My hair is falling out,  I have this horrible skin thing going on (it itches in places, dry cracking in others, all lotions I've tried burn), my tumor area gives me shooting pains, the heals of my feet hurt (so I'm walking funny), I'm not regular (and then I have bleeding from my hemorrhoids), I feel like a bad Mom to Tucker and on and on. I just feel crappy.

So sorry you are not feeling well. Maybe your body is adjusting from the trip and excitement of moving. I don't know how you can stay awake in a recliner. My DH has one and always says he's just resting his eyes but when I get all comfy in it I can't keep my eyes open either. I guess you could call it resting. I usually call it sleeping.

Hair that comes out from chemo comes back in ways that surprise you. Sometimes a different color, maybe curly. I wish I had a suggestion for dry skin. And don't worry about Tucker, he knows you need him more than he needs you. Animals have that special sense. Rest when you can and give Tucker some love when you can. {{{Kim}}}

For your dry skin try to pick up some cream/ointment that is used for babies for diaper rashes. It will retain the moisture that is in the skin, seals really well & won't burn your skin.

{{{Kimne}}} *petpets Tucker* I'm sorry you're not feeling very well. Rest as best you can. *sending you much love*

{{{Kim}}}  Hope you got some good sleep and are feeling better today.  Sometimes you just gotta let the bad days happen and get them over with.

Along the lines of what Buggy was saying, check with your doctor first of course, but see if you can find some stuff called Vitamin A&D ointment.  It's usually found in the baby aisle because one of its main uses is diaper rash, but it also protects, moisturizes, and heals skin.  It's one of the few things they say is safe to put on freshly tattooed skin, so it might be mild enough that it won't burn when you apply it.

Hang in there.

You're in my thoughts a lot.  It's awful that you are going through this and can only hope that you get some relief.  I don't know if you've tried Aquaphor ointment on your skin.  I used it on radiation burns and cracked skin and it didn't burn and seemed to absorb well.  However, it's greasy.

Enjoy your recliner and don't worry - Tucker will be fine.
