			<title>Salad craze ... </title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;We have been eating salads every evening, and every lunch. At dinner a salad with whatever it is we are having for dinner.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anthony likes vinegrette on his salad( he makes it himself with balsamic vinegar etc) , while I only like ranch or Caesar,&amp;nbsp; but thats ok, the problem is that Anthony likes to cover his salad in crutons and bacon bits... so do I but i only use a serving size, just enough to have a taste. So i dont know if im defeating the purpose of having salad, if Im using a table spoon of real bacon bits ( not that fake crap) and a tablespoon of crutons. I dont cover my salad in sauce either, i just add a tablespoon of reg ranch to the side and dip my fork before each bite, you still get the taste and use wayyy less sauce. Im also using some shredded cheese, just a sprinkle.&amp;nbsp; using green leaf lettuce, and a baby spring mix.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;SO any salad ideas ??&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We had sushi over the weekend, LOVE sushi !! But the sodium kills me ! We also had pizza, and even tho we chose mostly veggies as toppings, the sodium must have been high, since im so swollen !!! NOt getting on the scale !&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>Mid week... </title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Ive been doing good, Im busy with school, but been eating well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have been trying to concentrate on eating more during the day, and less after dinner. So far so good.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I weighed in this morning, but it was after my shower, and breakfast( which was just a yogurt and banana) but my hair was wet etc, so its not accurate at all.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;315.1&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I need to find a way to manage my time better, so that I can bring better stuff to school to eat etc&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Im making my famous green beans for dinner.&amp;nbsp; easiest recipe ever !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Fresh green beans( minced)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 tbsp oil&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 clove garlic&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1tsp fresh ginger ( minced)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2-3 tbsp low sodium oyster sauce&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 small steak thinly sliced.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Instructions&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Fry steak strips in a little oil with garlic and ginger, and some of the oyster sauce. When meat is partially cooked transfer away from heat, add fresh green beans to pan add a tiny bit more oil, and some more oyster sauce, let simmer till beans are tender, then readd the meat, and cook for 2-3 more mins untill meat is cooked through.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Serve over rice, sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I also ALWAYS add my spicey tomato chutney on the side when I have this recipe. ( and most other recipes that are served over rice)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1-2 firm tomatoes diced&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1tsp olive oil&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 tsp rice vinegar&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;pepper&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 super hot chili finely diced&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;combine all, let sit ( if you have time) Add salt just before eating.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Dont add the salt before you let it sit, or all the water will come out of the tomatoes !&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>Another weekend... </title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;another weekend over and done with and another weekend with an 8lbs gain =(&amp;nbsp; Im sure its not real fat, but it still sucks !!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I need to stop, I need to get this right, I need to lose ! I have kinda stuck to most my promises, I havent had much sweets,etc and I havent drank much Pepsi, but we have gone to 2 restaurants. =(&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I keep eating at meal times, like its the last meal of my life. I just dont get it, Its like I need to eat these huge meals .. like ill never get the chance to meet again.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I wish i could just quit eating, like i quit smoking .. that would make life much easier, sign.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Back on the band wagon... need to get this done. I cant be trying to lose weight for the rest of my life.&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>Progress ! maybe ? ha </title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;So on the 19th at night I weighted in at 319.9.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This morning .. I weighed in at 310.1 so thats a total of 9.8 lbs in 4 days ... hmmm&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Water weight ! haha I have been eating well tho, Ive been sticking to the water, and almost no sweets at night, I had some homemade rice pudding ( that my mom made) the night before last just a small portion, and a tiny peice of cheese cake last night around 8pm, so other than that Ive been super good with the eating =)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ive been eating lots of veggies, last night I made shrimp fried rice and it was loaded with veggies, I added onions, brocoli, peas and corn.. then once it was cooked .. we had shredded carrot to sprinkle on it .. it was so good and gave a good crunch.( i only used about a tsp or 2 of oil) It was quick and easy !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i came up with a trick to using soysauce, and geting that nice brown color on the rice, while skipping so much sodium .. I add the soysauce to some water before i add it to the pan.. the nice taste is still there but way less salty =) Its good to do for dishes like fried rice, that call for lots of soysauce.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So 310.1... Im happy about that, but im still annoyed that is 30lbs heavier than I was just a few months ago =(&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ive decided that I really need to focus on eating as natural as possible, no processed stuff, stuff that comes from nature must be good. 			<title>I just cant get it right... </title>

&lt;p&gt;There has to be a reason why Im so bad at eating ... =(&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I weighed myself last night ... 319.9 .. thats only nine lbs lighter than I was when I started here in Feb 2008 =( I know it was a night time weigh in so its slightly deceptive.. but still !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I need to do this, hubby and I are thinking about having a baby .. I cannot gain any more weight therefore if I want to have a kid I must lose weight first... ( I realize that doesnt really make sense but it does kinda to me)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;SO i came up with a plan, I will go to the end of the earth NOT to break a promise Ive made. SO i promised my husband 4 things.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. I promised to cut back on Sugar.( basically all the crap I crave every evening)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. I promised to cut back on salt.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. I promised to eat breakfast everyday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. I promised to only drink 2 cans of Diet Pepsi a day.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In turn he promised me...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. he promised not to eat more than 1 serving of carbs with dinner.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. He promised to eat one peice of fruit everyday ( most likely a banana)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; He promised to eat breakfast everyday&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. He promised to drink only 2 cans of Diet Pepsi everyday.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We both promised to go back to eating out only once a week.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So there you have it ... I have to do this .. I promised him. And that means more to me than any peice of cheesecake.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I wish i wasnt still struggling with this, I wish i could just flip a switch and be at a healthy weight.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Going to be 30 in June, Want to be atleast 230-250 by then .. I can do this .. its just going to be tough =/&lt;/p&gt;

			<title>Made  soup .. for the first time ! </title>

			<description>&lt;p&gt;I made soup, and it has 15 diffrent kinds of beans/pulses hehe Its SOOO filling, one bowl with a small slice of bread and Im so full !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It also has leeks and carrots from the farmers market, and a small head of cabbage, and about .5 cup of cooked rice that I had left over so i threw that in too.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Yum yum yum !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyway, just wanted to check in and say that things are going ok, not wonderfully but ok.&amp;nbsp; We are making a serious effort to be conscience of what we are eating, and to try and make the best choice.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hope everyone is doing well.&lt;/p&gt;

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Been super busy lately bt school and running back and forth with Drs appointments with my husband, he has been diagnosed as Pre -diabetic .. and to be honest I think it has scared the shit out of him.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He wants to kick it in the butt, before it kicks him in the butt, and is now trying to focus on eating right.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am really glad that he wants to do this, its much easier when he is on board. much much&amp;nbsp; much easier.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We are going to start swiming, not that I really want to be seen publically in a bathing suit, but whatever ... Im married to the most wonderful man, and im willing to do anything at all in my power to keep him healthy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Ive decided that I want to lose 100lbs by my Birthday in June, Yes its ALOT, but its dooable, 10lbs a month is 80lbs. I know its not going to happen,BUT having a big goal wil be a motivator for me to just try harder.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If I can keep my hubby on board, its as good as done =) LOL ya right hahaha&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;3 new rules:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1. Breakfast. ( I had some cereal and a banana and a tall glass of 1%milk)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2. Water. ( coffee, and milk and water, ( no pop) which is basically the goal of the water rule.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. NO stuffing my pie hole after dinner ! * we will see about this one tonight.&amp;nbsp; I will be allowed one snack, as Im not having much of a lunch today.&lt;/p&gt;

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Oh boy .. I just had the biggest slice of cheese cake on the face of the earth ... and now im suffering, not only do I feel sick, I feel so much shame... I feel so out of controll when it comes to my eating =/&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I just want to eat like a normal person, 3 meals a day, and a couple small snacks, but its so hard. I never make time for breakfast, and im always stuffing my face at night =/&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Im going to be 30 next year, I need to get my act together, I need to focus, I need so much ...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have everything anyone could ask for, a wonderful Husband, a great family, I do well in school, we arent hurting financially. I love my life, Im just SICK to death of feeling like ppl are repealed by the sight of my 300+ lb body. Im so sick of having a pretty face =/&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I need to make some rules ... I need rules that I can stick to. I need to do this, I need to stop stuffing my face !&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I need to gain controll, and lose the weight, I need to think positive, and just do it !&lt;/p&gt;

			<description>&lt;p&gt;Did well yesterday, no stuffing my face with sweets at night, I had a fat free Chocolate pudding about an hour before bed .. and&amp;nbsp; I was ok with that =)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Hvent been able to do my Wii fit today or yesterday .. but today I spent a few hours scraping the paint off our deck and then painting it =/&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So that sounds like exercise to me !&lt;/p&gt;
