Entry P90X Round 3 Day 56: 17+ mile run
Mar 15 2009 14:25

Today I did the longest run I have ever done.

I'll be going to Church later this evening.

I am in a very zen state of mind right now. I am in the middle of nothingness.

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 54: Core Synergistics
Mar 13 2009 11:07

The workout today is Core Synergistics.

Had breakfast with my daughter early before work. She does a very funny british accent. :-)

I'll be working on stuff having to do with the office move to the new location in the next few weeks.

My Dad is turning 73 on Sunday. We are getting together on Saturday to celebrate.

Hope you all have a great weekend, my friends!

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 52: Kenpo-X
Mar 11 2009 15:57

Did the P90X Kenpo-X workout very early this morning, then carpooled to work and had back to back meetings.

I'm leaving soon to enjoy my evening.

More American Idol on TV. Maybe a little bit of laundry and cleaning.

Is it only Wednesday today?

I did the P90X Core Synergistics DVD this morning.

Plus, this run.

Going home to relax in front of the TV and let my brain turn to mushy mush, watching American Idol, yeah! Cool

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 50: Yoga-X
Mar 09 2009 09:41

Did the Yoga-X DVD early this morning, then drove to the Chiropractor, then to work.

Nothing exciting going on today, hopefully, so I can get some things checked off my to do list.

Hope you all have a great week this week!

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 49: 6 mile run
Mar 08 2009 16:11

Yesterday morning, I did the Kenpo-X routine.

Today, I did a relatively fast (full out effort) 6 mile run. The average pace was 9:35 minutes per mile! That's a great time for me, especially since I think I maintained a pretty good clip throughout.

It's also stopped raining for a bit, so I could run a little faster.

Here's me after the run. As you can see, I'm feeling happy.

I'm growing my beard again for Palm Sunday; I've been asked again (9th year in a row) to play Jesus at our Church's Passion Play.

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 47: My own rest day
Mar 06 2009 10:56

I was feeling a little bit frayed around the edges this morning and decided to give myself a one day rest day. The workout today was supposed to be legs and back and I felt like giving my legs and back a little bit of a break.

I'm itching to do some exercise, but I'm forcing myself to just hang out, chill out, relax for a day. Tomorrow's workout is Kenpo-X and I have a 5 mile run planned for Sunday.

So, I sit on my hands today and drink lots of water.

Hope you are all having a great Friday!

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 46: Was supposed to do Yoga X
Mar 05 2009 17:36

I didn't do Yoga today. Instead, I stretched for a while (about 15 minutes) and went for a nice 4 mile run.

Tomorrow is Friday.

Tonight is the American Idol wildcard show, I am looking forward to it!

Entry P90X Round 3 Day 45: Back and Biceps + Ab Ripper X
Mar 04 2009 11:13

Did the Back and Biceps and Ab Ripper X routines this morning before work with my daughter, Katherine (who popped over and did it with me before driving to school).

That was fun.

Now, I am at work, perusing Java code and wasting a few minutes here and there on facebook.

On another note: No caffeine cravings, my energy is high, I'm drinking lots of water (no soda, diet soda, coffee, etc). Yay!

Anyhow... That's all for now. Have a great day, my friends!
