Started at 5:45 AM this morning. Finished about 7:20. It actually felt good to stretch and get into those poses.
Now I am at work. It's a four-day week for me (I'm taking Friday and Monday off).
Not much else going on. Hope everyone has a great week!

Today is the rest day from P90X.
I'm going for my Sunday long run: 10.5 miles. Will update this entry once I am done.

Update: Here is the run I did this morning. Average pace was 10:47. Not bad at all for such a long run. I only used about 30% of my iPhone battery (going down to 70% from fully charged) which gives me confidence that I will be able to GPS map the actual marathon in April.

Today was Kenpo-X.
My daughter, Katherine, came over and we did the workout together.
It was lots of fun!
Going to mostly rest for the remainder of the day.

Today's workout is Yoga-X. I will also be doing another short (3 mile) run later today.
I will update this entry when I have completed my exercises.
The weather is a bit weird today, so I hope I can run. I might still run in the rain, even if the weather turns nasty.
Update: Did my 3 mile run. New best personal time was 9:21/mile!

Back on my preferred schedule (workout in the morning).
I'm doing my Shoulders and Arms and Ab Ripper X DVD. About 75 minutes of excruciating fun. Today is a rest day from running, so this is my only workout.

Did my Plyometrics DVD this morning, then showered and went to work. Meetings, working on software, etc.
Later this afternoon, I intend to do my 3+ mile run.
I will update this entry when I finish the run. My goal is to have a 9:40 minutes per mile pace on that run.

Update: My run is done. The GPS on the iPhone kept losing signal (I actually followed the winding road rather than cut across all those corners), so I had to manually fix the distance based on MapMyRun.com, but the time is correct, giving me an average pace of... drum roll please... 9:39!!! Yes!!!

I did my nine mile run this morning!
It was awesome. Up and down trails. Beautiful scenery. There are a few pictures, along with a picture of my two running buddies. I feel great. I am definitely in a lot better shape that when I did my half marathon.

The observant reader will notice that I never went back to do the update on my previous entry. Which means, yes, I missed my Legs and Back workout yesterday.
Today, we cleaned the house a bit, did some laundry, then went to see the movie "New In Town." I loved it! It was very funny. Then we came back home and cleaned some more.
Just now, I finished up my Kenpo-X DVD. I'm feeling good, feeling energetic, refreshed!
I'm going to take a shower next, walk over to Church for an all-you-can-eat pasta and crab feed fundraiser. That will be perfect fuel for tomorrow's 9 mile run. :-)

Today's workout is Legs and Back.
I had another very early start today (6AM conference calls). Around 10:30, I went into the office and did some more meetings, then off to lunch with my daughter.
By the way, my daughter Katherine is so funny and smart and beautiful. I had a great time with her at lunch. :-)
Now, I'm home and have not yet done my P90X workout, but I plan to do it in the next few hours. I will update this entry when I finish it.
It's almost the weekend!

I did another 3 mile run in keeping with my marathon prep schedule.
The pace was 9:44. Yes! I feel wonderful.
Very much looking forward to my 9 mile run this weekend!
