This place used to be awesome. Even before the additional tweaks were made to the tracking system and exercises more than a year ago, it was a solid place of motivation. You could go check out topics in the forum and click on what interested you and sparked your mind. I just don't understand why people even look at, or moreso RESPOND TO, thread topics which they do not agree with. In the end, it is the people who respond in an angry fashion to underweight teenagers, with problems in dire need of psychological help (maybe as much as those need who are extremely obese), that fuel the growing negativity of Calorie Count these days.
The next time you post your opinion, consciously knowing it will clash with that of the original posters...think about the consequences. Maybe send that person a PRIVATE message instead of setting the stage for the next showing of The Donnellys.
In my opinion, every person has a right to do with their own body as they wish. If you live your life as politically correct as you think it should be led...and others don't happen to do so...well, let them be on their merry way.
I agree with you. Also, there are gentle ways to disagree. I think some of the motivation for people to publicly and angrily respond is the misguided notion that they might be helping someone else... But, it can be done in a much more positive and loving way. |
People suck.... seriously. How's the Deustchland? |
