Entry November progress report 1

I have not lost any weight yet.  Hopefully it will begin to shed soon.  I have developed good excercise habits.  Having the eliptical in my home has made a huge differance.  I actually use it.  Another thing that has helped is exercising in the morning.  I am not a morning person at all, but it is too easy to let thing get in the way during the day.  One thing that has really helped me begin excersising in the morning is setting the alarm on my phone.  I put the phone on the charger in the bathroom.  So I have to get up to turn it off.  In the bathroom I have my excercise clothes and shoes set out.  Then I tell myself how important it is before I can talk myself into going back to bed. 

My morning workout consists of a 10 minute warm up, 30 minute resistance/pace program and 10 minute cooldown on the eliptical.  20 girly pushups or 10 regular pushups. Turbo Jams-Ab Jam video.  I can definatly feel the differance since I have been doing this.  My body has been feeling stiff and sore.  Just walking around the house while cleaning was painful on Sunday.  I know this annoying soreness will go away as my body gets use to excercising again.  I am doing this workout Monday through Saturday.

I have also been walking 2 miles on my lunch break.  On Saturday instead of 2 miles I am walking 6  miles around a lake in my area. 

I am proud of myself for being consistant with excersisng.  Know I need to become that consistant with food consumption. 

During the week I did very good.  Over the weekend I went to a Creative memory party and a baby shower.  On Friday night I did good at the Creative Memory party and ate apples w/ fruit dip and a wrapped pickle.  For the most part healthy choices.  On Saturday I did alright.  Then Sunday comes.  This was my rest day for excercise which means I did not burn that many.  I had healthy meals but I also went to the Baby shower.  At first I resisted pretty well.  Then I caved and made a plate.  The vegetable were ones I did not like so I had chip and dip, etc.  The cake at the party was made by the same lady who did my wedding cake so I had to have a piece.  Sunday turned out to be a bomb :(.  To top it off I gave in and had a cookie with my lunch today.    I have realized where I went wrong and will do better.  No more snacks they lead to worse decisions.  I can still keep adefecit today by adding an extra mile to my walk after work and eating a low cal meal at dinner to keep my defecit.

Another thing I am trying to do is keep a 500 cal defecit between what I consume and what I burn.  I have done well a this according to the calorie count tabulator.  Hopefully this will make a difference in time.
