I told the rest of the family!

So, I just got back home from my dad's house. I went over there to share the great news! First I told my sister, I told her to close her eyes and open her hands and I put the pregnancy test in her hand. She was like "No Way!" LOL She was really excited!! Then I told my dad the same way, he didn't know what the test was! I was like "Read it!" and he couldn't (he's 60 and has bad sight) so I just told him "You're going to be a grandpa!" and he was like "Finally!" This is not his 1st grandchild but he's been dying for me to have a baby! Then a few minutes later my brother walked in, I pulled the same routine on him and I knew he would know what it was because he has a 2yr old son. As soon as he saw it he was like "What?!!!" in a good way. He is also very excited!! I'm so glad to finally tell everyone! The only ones left are my cousins and aunts and stuff but I'm sure they'll hear it from word of mouth and be calling to congratulate me in the days to come! OR I'll just post it on facebook! LOL 

Venting about fiance!

So, my fiance and I were TTC for 3 months before we got pregnant. We have been together for 4 1/2 years. It took me some time to convince him to start trying but he finally agreed! So how come he is acting like a dick now that I'm preggers!! When I 1st told him he wasn't very excited he seemed to be more worried about pending financial stress than the bundle of joy that would come. I guess maybe it is because he has a child from a previous relationship so he knows what it is to have a child and how it changes your life. This will be my first and I am over the moon! However he makes dumb ass comments like "I'm getting my balls cut off so I don't have anymore!" It drives me completely insane and honestly it is depressing! Sometimes I feel like he doesn't want this child! We were talking today about how we could save money and I suggested he sell his car and get a cheaper one and he told me "I wouldn't sell my car for you, my mother or this child!" I was like "Wow! Okay if that's how you fell no problem, I'll just sell mine then since you don't want to make any sacrifices!" I mean honestly if this were an unplanned pregnancy then maybe I would understand but this was planned!! WTF?!!! Ugh! I don't know if I'm just emotional from all the hormones or what but in the back of my mind I can't help but think that making a baby w/ HIM was a bad idea! I already knew he doesn't see his 1st child what makes me think things would be different w/ me!

I just found out yesterday! I am 4 weeks along I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow. My Expected Due Date is March 4, 2010 according to online calculators. I am so happy and excited my fiance is happy too but he is more stressed about finances than happy. I'm sure he'll get there though. I just really don't want to gain weight since I am already 80 lbs overweight and the heaviest I've ever been!! 

Edited to add: So far I haven't had many symptoms the only clue I had was that on Thursday, the day b4 AF was due, I started cramping, so I was sure that she would show up right on time. Then, 5 days l had no AF but I was still cramping. I took a test and it came up positive right away. I took another test this morning just to make sure I wasn't dreaming!
