EXERCISE!!!!!

For the first time in my life I am using exercise to entertain me when I am bored - I used to use food! I've managed at least 100 mins of exercise each day this week. Today was 45 minutes on the elliptical followed by 55 minutes on the treadmill. I tried the 'weightloss' setting on level 2 with a 2 percent incline. Starts out at 2mph for 3 minutes as a warm up and the workout alternates between 3.5mph for 3 mins (walk) and 4.5 for 2 mins (jog) - well something like that...but I lasted the whole 55 minutes!

I have never jogged in my life - so it was quite surprising that I could manage to jog on and off for alomost an hour...yes, I am tired and my butt and thighs are still burning, but I never would have guessed I was fit enough to do that!

Now I am struggling to get enough calories in me to make up for all that exercise - I've burned off everything I ate so far: It's 2:26 p.m.  I've eaten about 1000 cals - and I have burned 1036 cals - Gotta go fuel the machine! MMMM...food!

That is just so cool, I love reading about your exercise! Really it's very inspiring. I managed 500 cals on the elliptical today, feels good. The really best part about it, I passed up fast food lunch to go work out at the gym instead. yahoo!
