Today was a a good day - got my 7 hours of sleep and drank 4.5 liters of water. Stayed busy all day - exercise by 10 a.m., house cleaning before lunch, yard work in the afternoon (it was 16C (61F) today!), embroidery in the evening. I've been unemployed for 12 days and I already have the cleanest house and yard in a 50 mile radius! I AM SO BORED!!!! AHHHHHHHH I even offered to go and stay with my Mom for a week to wash walls while she is at work...I'm GOING CRAZY!!!
So, I really don't have much to report. I ate well, though I seem to be lacking my usual 40g of fiber...it seems to go down when my protein is higher. My fat is always too low so I get to eat an ounce of almonds almost every day...mmm....they taste awesome with the clementines I bought on the weekend.
Hope everyone is doing great. I can't believe tomorrow is only Tuesday...but, the plus side, my new washing machine will be here tomorrow afternoon - NO MORE TRIPS TO THE LAUNDRYMAT! YAY!
You are amazing! House cleaning and yard work on top of 110 minutes of elliptical and hiking. I'm worn out just reading about it. |
I am looking forward to the extra exercise and cleaning habits that unemployment brings. One more week! I just hope I can find something before I get too bored. Have you thought about a part-time job? A lot of retail places are hiring soon for the holidays. Or you could volunteer! I'm planning to spend some time helping out at the school where my mom works until I get settled into the substitute system. Hope you find something to keep you sane! Keep up the good work. :) |
Hiya Thanks for the comment in my journal . . . seem to be having a rough time of it lately. I like reading yours, you always seem to have a good plan in place and sometimes I think that's half the battle, being prepared. I'm sitting down today and planning out my week. Hopefully that will give me a lil gumption to getter done. I'm glad there won't be a break between Schmoozer's and BLC . . . I need all the accountability I can get right now. :) |
Hey I think it's fabulous you are getting all that wonderful exercise! But sorry about the boredom. Being bored sounds luxurious to me right now though! But I certainly understand the need to feel productive. Are there other personal or professional goals you can work on this winter? Or, time for a new hobby? |
I don't know why 150 . . . maybe because it seems like I've been trying to get there for so long. When I first started, I wanted to lose all I could over the warmer months and then just maintain for the winter. I just feel like I'm so close, I want to get it over with . . . which is kinda ridiculous considering I won't really be able to quit once I hit my goal. I'm being a bit stubborn *smirk*. At any rate, I wrote down several good habits that I developed over the summer, things that I've accomplished and things that I want to get back to. I'll get all that organized in my head and get them on my profile tonight so I see it every day and remember my purpose. I seriously need to get my groove back. |
