What a weekend... Went out of town to my hubby's family's in Dubois PA. Left Sat Am around 8 AM.. to arrive there around 11:30 AM. Not that this was BAD, but not much activity when your in a car for 3.5 hours.. going to a luncheon, and then sitting around bulls***ing isnt much ACTIVITY!
Well since I eat a mostly "protien" based meal.. I was prepared to eat my protien, and I took fruit as my "covered dish" so there would be SOMETHING healthy I could eat, or snack on if I got the munchies...... Well got the munchies wasnt even a QUESTION. They didnt have ANY protien based anything..... besides Sloppy joes.. I cant have the bread..... and it was made with groundbeef... the had a cabbage roll (sort of) dish... , ground beef, WHITE RICE, topped with shredded cabbage & thesauce.. ( BY THE WAY... GREAT IDEA since I HATE ROLLING CABBAGE ROLLS) but if I woul dhave made it, I would have had Brown rice, and ground sirloin & turkey...... Point being.. ALOT of proccessed CARBS that I ate which in turn made me hungrier.... Remember.. Im used to being hungry so I EAT! But with a protien based meals.. its curbs that hunger..... SO all of this boils down to.. I was on my rag... eating like a cow... feeling like CRAP.. Yet.. I was hungry so I ate! That is what Im used too......
Result.. GAINED 10 LBS..... Im sure SOME is water.. but how about my skin actually HURTS from being stretched....... Trust me I have the skin .... but it hasnt been stretched lately... so OUCH! my sides, my belly, my wrists, my under arms..... Im back to eating normal.. but man that feeling really SUCKS!
Just wanted to let everyone know so you all don't do what I have done! IT SUCKS!
Well thats about 10 lbs for the both of us. I ate like crap on my vacation about half the time but I still came back to weigh 213 instead of 204. This on top of not drinking my water. Yea. I hate being bloated. Ugh! Lets get back on track ! |
last week was my gain, over 7 pounds up but this week is back to normal |
