hello everyone,
just want to let you all know I was having extremely bad stomach pains for a few weeks and decided to go to the ER the other night, spent 10 hours there and they told me I had gallstones and would have to have surgery to remove my gallbladder.
So I had it done yesterday and am recovering at home now. Just wondering if anyone else had this done and what to expect. Weight loss would be nice, lol.
I just bought a pedometer with an fm radio in it off eBay, the weather is starting to be really nice and i'm excited for a change to my Gazelle routine.
well, happy spring !!

I have been feeling like i've been slacking because I've been feeling so tired lately, haven't been exercising regularly at all so I put off weighing in. Well finally this morning I tried on some jeans that looked like i'd never fit in, they fit. That gave me the guts to go step on the scale and I **FINALLY** made it into the 150's which makes me soooooo happy.
Now just to keep it going. I think it's so wierd how you think you stayed the same weight, or even went up, but in reality you lost weight....
I am so glad it's getting warmer out. I am going to get a pedometer soon, if I get out walking it's a change from my Gazelle, which has been good to me but I am really bored of it !! I think when I'm out walking i'm going to add some HIIT to it, try and rev up my metabolism too.
So, Happy Spring !!! I am psyched !!!

well, i am not quite sure what I did but I went from 163 last week, to 161.2 this week. I am ecstatic !! this is the lowest i've been since... Ohhh, i;n not too sure when I started gaining... it's been gradual over the last few years... so this feels really good. I've got 51.1 lbs left to go !! that sounds so far off but i'll make it.
i'm happy !! AND yesterday I went to see a guy friend I haven't seen in 4 months... he agreed, new year, new beginning..... things are going great !!

well, it's 6:03 pm and I have not had a cigarrette yet today. I am into my 3rd week on Chantix and it's working. .. . . my main concern now is to make sure I DO NOT gain any weight from this, i'm still trying to loose ya know ?! The last few I had I didn't even enjoy, I could tell it was just the habit of putting my hand to my mouth. I am wondering if anyone knows what kind of candy would be good for me... I feel like buying a bag of those chocolate Reisen's, lol. But I know that isn't good..... I do have some sugar free gum, but gum is wierd, I think chewing it sometimes makes me hungry !!
I am doing this #1 for my health, and #2 for my Mom who passed last year due to COPD / Emphysema from smoking. Yesterday she would have turned 59.
I think she would be proud of me for this. And my Grandmother, I am really hoping to be able to tell her I quit by the time she comes back from Florida in March. She keeps on me... I don't blame her after what she went through with my Mother.
Any comments are really appreciated.

hello...
well, I tried whole wheat spaghetti tonight for the first time and i have to say... with some pepper and garlic, it's awesome !!
I am kind of beating myself up cuz I haven't been working out as much as I'd like to. Seems like it's a workout just to get warm, it's so cold here in MA. I can't stand it. I know, I know, exercising will warm me up !! I guess I just need some motivation.
i'm looking forward to go to the movies this weekend with a good friend, my pookie. we're seeing National Treasure: Book of Secrets.... i'll let you know how it is !!
