Can anyone explain how a scrambled egg has more cals than a boiled egg? It's not like the egg changed just because it wasn't cooked in the shell!

if you are referring to the calorie count scrambled egg when adding it to your food log- it assumes that it has been cooked with some oil hence the higher cals. i'd go with egg boiled or poached if you did not use any oil since calories stay the same (70 for me.)

Hope this helps somewhat. :)

that annoys me to.  Also, why do I have the option of frozen strawberries (no sugar added) and strawberries, when the only option I have when I go to log them is to log them thawed.  What's the difference?

Im with ama in the fact that they are assuming a smidge of oil since they stick to the pan....

And Deb frozen/thawed strawberries are all soft and mushy and you can get a lot more into a cup measure than fresh strawberries...thats my guess.

But I agree there are some stupid discrepancies on here, lol.

.. well and who's to say that I'm not using a non-stick cooking spray that's 0 calories??

dunno...i wonder if it matters where the egg came from ...or what type of chicken....or who typed it in off what site since we can add food to the mainframe...or what type of feed the bird eats?

I have had huge calorie differences between one type of salmon and another.  That was off the package not CC.
