Entry Motivated! Thanks to God
Jul 20 2009 17:49

It's been some time since I felt motivated to do much of anything. Something clicked in me, though after a discussion between my husband and I, words of wisdom (spoken through the Bible) from our pastor, and after discovering this website. Now, I'm extremely motivated.

I get excited about eating because I can't wait to find ways to cut the fat and lessen the calories. I look forward to the gym, dreaming of my ideal, realistic body, and knowing it will boost my mood and increase my energy. I'm always bumping "Christ Jam" through my headphones. And oddly enough, if I haven't reached my daily goal yet at the gym, or I'm not hungry, but thinking of food, a little prayer pushes me through.

It's just the beginning, but I've never been so optimistic about getting healthy. I know my son is going to be a sports fanatic like his Daddy, and my baby girl is destined for greatness...I can't wait to chase them around when they're a little older, and I will be so proud to be able to keep up with them.

I have the perfect family life. A loving husband, and two beautiful kids. The best is yet to come. And I have to thank God for it all. He got His message to me. I have a greater purpose for Him, and I have to adjust my lifestyle to be ready to embrace that change.

Thank you, Almighty God.
