Lap band struggler.....Nov 10 2009 07:47
Hello my name is Mandy I am 39 years old one year post op from having the lap band. What a year Ihave had it all started with a port revision 8 weeks post op, 7 months out an intestinal blockage, 8 months post op a hernia. I have no fill and have gained 17lbs since the intestinal blockage. So I go back to the md this week to have the hernia repaired and hopefully on my way to successful weight loss. It is not all bad I have lost about 30lbs in a year. WOW was I hoping for a little more than that. So I was on the lap band forum and I was turned onto this site. WOOOO.....was I surprised at how much I have been eating. This site is awesome. This is day two for me and already I made some changes in my meal choices. I am very excited about being a member.
