It was going to be a date night tonight, the first in a while, but Bill is working on buying a new (new to him anyway) ranch truck and he's getting it looked over by a mechanic in some little burg too far away to make it to dinner on time.  The original plan was to go to a lecture at the Fresno chapter of the Audubon Society with dinner first.  Eh, shrug.  I guess he owes me dinner.

Well, it's official, I have to do something about these few extra pounds I seem to have gathered up post-surgery.  A miracle has not happened and I'm over the high end of my "happy" range.  I've been fighting it mentally, but now I'm ready.  Starting today.

Another photo from Sunday's walk, a couple of buckeyes.  I love the smooth brown of the nuts (which are poisonous, by the way).

Gratitude of the Day:  I am grateful for the cold, logical functionality of the CC database and analysis tools.  Can't run, can't hide.

I am grateful for that too! (except for me, it's my spreadsheets).

Well, you're not alone, I can't call mine water weight or anything either; I think it's real. Good news is, it's going down, as yours certainly will, now that you're gradually becoming as active as previously again. Hubby and I are breaking our "date night" up--dinner tonight, Men Who Stare at Goats tomorrow. His employer willing, that is...

Love those nuts! Er...you know what I mean...Wink

How big are those seeds/nuts? I wonder if any animal eats them.

I just wish I had all of your willpower to get on here everyday and go through the "slow" procedure of looking up every food. That is why I stop for awhile and start. I get to worked up on the finding the exact food or trying too.
