Hello!
I am new to this website, which I found while doing a Google search for low cal snack foods...
Anyway, I am newly 20 years old and 5'7'', weighing in at 159.5 lbs as of today, which seems awfully large. It seems like only a few months ago I was fitting into a size 6, now I'm at an 8. HMMMFFFFTTTT.
. I am disappointed in myself for sure. My goal is to get down to about a size 2 and hopefully go into modeling. I know that seems like a crazy thing to a lot of people, but I have always wanted to try it! I hope being a member of this site can help me reach my goal of 120 or less... !
If there are like minded people out there feel free to add me/comment/offer support/ whatever...I'm here for you too!
I am also the same way. I am a great motivator just happen not to myself sometimes. I am a Afrian Contemporary dancer that went from 120 to 141.4 in a year. Last year, I went to South Africa to join this dance company right after college. Now I am back to the states after a year and half.... How did I gain the weight? well....I went to a country that I did not know anybody. After three months, I left that dance company for reasons and stayed because I felt like....I needed to learn more and 3 months was not enough. So for 4 months, I worked to get some money and was not dancing. Gained weight...DEPRESSED On top of that, I feel in love and this guy actually helped me into my weight lost. I was 150 and I lost 10 pounds. this guy also broke my heart but we are still friends. another story later. So, then....i started teaching dance. i knew that i was bigger...but looking at my students faces of disbelief that i was a dancer gave me even more reality. But after they took my class, they realized this girl can dance. I also realized that I could dance no matter how much weight. During all these relizations, I got saved. Even more of a clear understanding of life came to me. After a year and half, I realize my purpose there in SA and on this earth. To my reality, I am dancer at 23 years old. I also have a communications degree so my focus is to build up own company. and i have to build up me because I am the brand. So theres my story in a nutshell. I am back in the states with a new motto: "if you do not like it, change it" Yea I know the body that I created is not the body that I should be living in. so I am making the steps: 1) I went to a weight mangement clinic yesterday. My first task was to write down all my food. (Immediately, my mind started getting back into that mind set again.) I started to eat healthy again. Im low on money so this clinic was not even expensive. it was $100 for all my tests/regristration. then after that just 35$ for a visit/2 visits monthly. it includes suppliments. i know this money will add up but it actually was the cheapest in town. 2) started exercising. ok! will love a gym right now but not on the budget. so i started running and i instantly felt the weight off. and i do exercises on Fit TV yoga and cardio. 3) this site, i use to have one so i remembered then came back 4) i put the picture up on my goal weight. 110.....not a celebrity. me because at least i know that i was that weight before. I do know alot about fitness and will be more than happy to share with you info from the weight management program. and this already helping me just by talking about it. 1)23 years old but way over my years, christian, and dance is my life. |
How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
