ive found that by eating healthfully and within my morals - which means no dairy or meat, though still a dose of seafood now and then - i am completely able to maintain my health and weight without counting calories.  i went from the state of mind of tracking everything EVERYTHiNG in my head, to having no clue how many calories im eating a day.  i do know though that i never ever let myself get hungry and that i eat a variety of fresh healthy food.  GO VEGANiSM ( i know the occasional fresh caught fish makes  it not really true but they arent subject to the same horror as farm animals).  also working out less intensely.  stopped doing hard cardio and switched to bike rides, long walks and the elliptical when its raining...   And guess what?? havent gained a pound or an inch months so go ahead and RELAX PEOPLE! do something you enjoy or eat something you enjoy for a change.  its not worth it to obsess over every calorie or minute on the treadmill.  you can probably do it alot easier if you just let yourself enjoy your life!
