Entry RANDOM UPDATE
Jun 09 2009 13:21

Just a reminder ... I post and update my Facebook page ALL the time, so feel free to add me. (Just tell me you're from Calorie Count!) Anyway, my name on Facebook is Harvie Schreiber.

The good news is that my wonderful DH is back from Iraq ... woo hoo! That was his sixth deployment, and he just got home a few days ago.  He is scheduled to go back for 4 months starting in December, but there's a possibility that he may (instead) go to Florida for 4 months as an instructor pilot. (Which, of course, is what I'm hoping for!)

Currently, my dieting is pretty much going nowhere. I'm sort of in a starting over standpoint, having eaten my way back to where I started from, give or take 30 pounds. Ugh. We're still having the darndest time keeping my diabetes, asthma and hypothyroidism under control (I take about 12 meds per day, plus 4-5 insulin shots), and my left knee is quite the problem, too ... making even walking off-limits for now.

* * *

The kitties are all fine and dandy. My tomato garden has gone crazy and I keep delivering bags-full of "spare" tomatoes to unwary neighbors, LOL!  We're planning a 3-day trip to the coast sometime at the end of the month, plus another 2-day trip in July along with a 2-day July trip to San Francisco. We're going to have a French 16-year-old foreign exchange student this summer for three weeks in July (July 13-August 1) ... so 2 of our trips will include him.

Anyway, I'm around. Feel free to email me, add me to Facebook, or comment here ... whatever works best for you!

HI MOLLY<  Glad you posted, I had just sent out a few checking on you PM's yesterday and hadn't gotten to your letter of the alphabet yet.  You were in the batch that I was going to do this afternoon.

Thanks Dear Lord for bring home Ron safely.  I pray and wish for the best that his time will be in Fla.

Sorry to hear about your medical issues.  While yours has gone down my has improved.  I have cut out tomatoes in my diet because of all the sugar.  I simply love them though, especially tomato soup!  I have been reduced by 20 units of long acting insulin, because I have been exercising more!  You have really been an inspiration to me.  I am sure you will loose that bit you gained.  I will ask the Lord to be with you during your journey.

Wishing you the best.  Take care and God Bless.

Thanks for posting.  I was excited when I first seen your ID come up. I just logged on!

geez, molly...  you're still my role model.  you helped to get me to where i am today.  i watched how great you were doing & how happy you were, etc.

i sure hope you can get out of this slump!

at least you have the chance to lose again.  every single pound loss is a major celebration.  i miss that.  LOL  i can't lose anymore weight.  i'm not allowed.

I'll be in SF July 5-11, if it coincides with your trip, we'll have to meet!

Wow, it's been a while since I've seen you on CC, but fb definitely gives me the updates.  Wink

I'm back up by 20lbs, so I know where you're at (without the diabets, hyperthyroidism, and the hubby).

Wonderful to hear from you again and extra wonderful that Ron is home safe and sound.

Sorry to hear of your physical difficulties. Fortunately if you can get back on track (and we KNOW you can!) some of it will probably get better. Not being able to walk is a bummer but losing is mostly diet anyway. You'll get there!

We love you Molly!!!
