Yep. I am back.

I have gained eight pounds since I first started here so long ago. So that means I have 27.8 pounds to lose to reach my goal weight of 125. I really want to reach 120 but first things first !

I have been battling monster horrible PMS and depression. I don't want to leave the house or hang with friends or excersize. I have to force myself to do so. My DH is awesome. I want to get thin again for him. He has put up with so much this past year or so....

Plans? Chart my food, get up at the ass-crack of dawn and walk a few miles (at least three a day) around the lake a few miles from my house. I will start there.

So, here I go again. :P

Ever eat something you HATED?

I have been doing well this week..until now. I splurged on a sonic breakfast burrito and tots. UGH. The burrito was hideous, the tots were greasy, and I spent 690 calories on food that I did not enjoy. I skipped supper last night...so food sounded good for breakfast. Nope, never again. Never sonic again. What a waste of my calorie bank ! I guess I will have something light for dinner and skip lunch. Bleah.

Pre-cooking meals.

Yep, I am cooking up a storm in the kitchen today, chicken breasts, brocollii, spinach, tofu, cabbage, red peppers...whatever we have...combining protien and veggies for easy to grab meals out of the fridge to zap in the microwave. I have been cooking and eating rich foods for the holidays, making sure everyone else is fed, but undermining myself. I will not be tempted to eat what the guys are eating if I have pre-cooked HEALTHY choices ! I also tend to obsess about meals for the family....food is just food. There is more to life.

Going to trek to the gym after work in my new red bug. I secretly call her "Rosa". And yes, she is a girl.

I intend to do 20 to 35 minutes of cardio including hiit, and then many, various abdominal excersises. Yesterday I skipped the gym because I had to go to the DMV and get temporary plates for Rosa, and then traffic was terrible. My husband had a hard day using the tile saw outside in the cold wind, and I wanted to get home and get dinner in the oven and make sure he was taken care of. We had meat loaf, which I later named "meat wad" because it crumbled when I tried to cut it up. Oh well, with the steamed veggies, the red-skin mashed potatos and the garlic bread, it was a nice meal anyhow.

This weekend I hope to clean out the basement room and set up some free weights, a bench, the aerodyne and a boom-box. Time to get to work !

Today was okay. I think my food was mostly on target, but I did not excersise. Back to it tomorrow. My son had an orchestra performance...he used his electric violin, (without the amp) and he is mostly by default, in the first chair row. It was cool to actually be able to see him ! He is growing up. Wow.

Today I got a "new" car. Totally unexpectedly...but YAY! A 1999 VW Bug ! It's red and cute, and sporty and...cute...and fun to drive ! It has seat-warmers and leather seats ! And it's an ALL MINE CHICK CAR !!!!....which is cool after always driving family cars, mini-vans...and then my second husbands BOY TOY jeep...(ugh)

Having a cute girlie car reminds me that I need to be cute now too...and it won't be so cute if I am a matronly person climbing into a vivacious car. Stupid..but we went out and had two beers at OC's....to celebrate. There goes my free day !

My muscles are sore from a sort of "meh" day of weight training yesterday. I hate how intimidated I feel around the men in the free-weight area.

I have so far to go..but I am not giving up !!!!

Every day is "DAY ONE"... :)

Weighed myself as promised...gained a few pounds...as expected. My clothes were getting tighter, a sure sign. I know what my problems are, I need to completely cut out crap and lower my carbs...and mostly...cut out alcohol ! Beer and such seems to fatten me up fast, quick and in a hurry! I am sure my body is converting it into sugar and then storing it as fat, and then putting it right onto my butt and stomach. Last time I cut out the brews..I lost 10 pounds !

I am back onto Body for Life, I am certain that I MUST weight train in order to build the musle that burns the fat. I had hoped that cardio alone would do it..but nope. This is a 12 week program with one free day and a six meal a day plan that I am going to follow strictly !

Can't live this way anymore, my self- esteem is through the floor..and the only person who can change it is myself.

A few years ago, a friend who is into body-building constructed a food and work-out plan just for me. I am going to follow it to the letter...I have nothing left to lose and everything to gain.

Monday, Monday....

Now that I am post ttom, I have no appetite. It's so weird how hormones can either make me ravenous, and after they subside, I could skip eating entirely.

I packed the gym bag before work, and will hit bally's on my way home. Cardio is awesome, but I know I really need to get back to weights. I will weigh myself and see what the damage has been over the past few weeks. Wednesday is weigh in day !

Day Two

I am at only 883 calories, give or take, and it's 8:30 pm, joined bally's, did 17 minutes on the elliptical and 26 one the treadmill, walking briskly and running intervals. It fricken' killed me. My heart rate hit 180. My bad for getting so damn out of shape ! Back at it tomorrow though....I hate being weak and red-faced.
