Entry A whole new day...

Well I spent the last part of 08 ignoring my health and fitness.  I felt my energy dwindle and I generally felt terrible.  I made some pretty big choices in my life during that time.  I've decided I don't want a baby for at least another 2 years.

Then I became one of those resolution-ers in January who vowed to start exercising.  It's been over a month and I'm still at it and I feel great!  I've noticed that my legs feel firmer, I have more energy, I'm more energetic and best of all my ass is greatly improving. I just love seeing what I can do.  Each day I head outside and jog or hop on the treadmill I'm pushing my limits.  I run in the cold, the damp... through snow, ice, slush and puddles... and getting out there and doing it makes me feel like I can accomplish anything.

But I didn't get any smaller.  Don't get me wrong I don't want to be a stick but a size or two would be great.  A couple days ago I started counting calories again after I realized my dinner was probably over 2000 calories alone (huge ass steak on rice... so yummy).  I realized at that point that I was eating way too much and I was lucky I wasn't getting bigger!

Anyways, cheers to new starts hopes and dreams... whatever they are...
