Hi! So this weekend was pretty good! Didn't go out thurs or fri since I had to study for the MPRE. I didn't even workout friday because I had a study marathon. Sat I took the exam, it went ok I think... we shall see. A bunch of my friends went to sunset right after for drinks and food but I went for a run with my friend scott instead. It was a good run, ran the emerald necklace in brookline which I have never done before but it is beautiful! We were gone over an hour so I am guessing 7-8 miles. Not that quick of a pace because he is recovering from surgery and not in as good as shape as he usually is. Sat night I went to an awesome resturant with a girl who works at my firn in NYC and goes toBU law, its called Orinico. I had vege empanadas that were really good! Went to a BU law party afterwards, that was fun. Sunday we had a HUGE brunch at my house because it was my roomates bday. I did pretty good considering all the food around. I had some cheese and crackers, yogurt and fruit, and a tiiiny peice of cake that was really good. Then I ran 8 miles really hard.. see ya later peice of cake! lol. Anyways I was 137 this morning which for me is an awesome monday weigh in (lately anyways). Last week I was 140 on monday and the week before that I didn't even weigh in cause I knew it would be bad! I'm pretty happy with my choices this weekend though and really glad I didn't binge! I haven't in like 2 weeks now so thats good.
Went to the derm friday. He told me to stop wearing make up and I said yeah right, lol. He gave me two scripts so we will see how that works out. I am technically not insured right now because my dad is switching jobs so I might have to wait to fill them.

Todays eats plan:
bfast - salmon, fat free cheese, egg white ommlette (265 cals)
snack - apple and balance bar (290)
lunch - frozen veggie cous cous entree from trader joes (250 cals)
before class - sweet potato and soy meatballs (250-300 cals)
pre workout - balance bar (200)
after - greek yogurt and fruit (250-300)
Going to lift and do cardio at the gym tonight, should be around 1600-1700 cals
Its always the makeup. Stupid doctors, its not the make up. Its probably just genetics. The medicine will probably help balance everything out. IF your washing your makeup off at night and starting fresh the next day then its not the make up. I asked my doctor the other day what could be causing these hive like rash that spreads from my chest to my jaw/ear line and he ignored it and concentrated on my sinus infection. Like I said doctors are stupid. |
stop wearing make-up?? pffft, yeah right! i've got an appointment in about a month, curious to see what they tell me. sounds like you have a good weekend, way to go on the not binging! |
Make up is the only thing he could come up with? It could be conditioner. Not that I'm a doctor but my sister's conditioner was causing her to break out. Make sure you wash your face after you rinse out the conditioner. It's made to coat and stick to your hair but it also sticks to the fine hairs on your face and can reek havoc on your skin. |
I agree with everyone else, NOT makeup. Unless you are wearing some crazy ass foundation, I highly doubt it. I bet the scripts will help you out for sure. Are you on BC? I know it helps a lot of people out with their skin. Hope the exam went well, I can't imagine how stressful all that studying must be! |
I'm lucky, I only "have" to wear makeup on weekends...it'll pretty much be that way my whole life since I'll barely ever need to dress up for anything work-related! My derm put me on a clindamycin/benzoyl peroxide cream at night and these glycolic acid pads in the morning and ever since my skin looks soooo much better! Also, I went to Sunset a couple of weeks ago...so good! Thanks for the egg suggestion! It's a bit tough since my living situation leaves me with a dorm fridge for my food and I don't have much time in the mornings. Well, my landlord doesn't mind if I put stuff in her freezer but I still like to have everything in my own space! I'll see if I can try them though, they sound yummy! |
