Entry Here I go, again...

Okay, today I am the same weight I was one year ago...sounds okay but at that point, I was still losing and lost 12 more pounds.  This is not good.  I got down to 121.5.  Now that probably was a little too low...125 was my goal.  But when I went on maintenance last spring, well, it just didn't go well.  I had a hysterectomy in May and gained some weight...forgave myself because the surgery caused it, right?  Six months later, I can't blame it on anything but myself.  Also, I started used another weight loss website everyday and I truly believe that had something to do with it because as long as I was using CC, I did great.  So today I want to put the brakes on...I'm back and it's not maintenance for me anymore...back to losing.  If I don't watch it (especially during the winter), I'll gain back everything I lost and that wouldn't not be good.  I already feel fat and unhappy with my weight.  CC, make me accountable again.

Good luck, a similar situation happened to me..

I decided to lose weight (BMI was 25.6)

I lost it down to about 110lbs (BMI 20)

and then fell off the waggon and gained 15lbs

Now I'm back at 118, shooting for 100.

Its hard to maintain a good weight.

Ugh! Aren't we in the same boat - although I think I need a bigger boat than you :).

I'm sitting here in MN on a snowy morning raising my hand saying, "me too".  I am up to 138.6.  I have to say (write) the number to believe it.  I couldn't button a pair of jeans the other day.

I started 2008 at around 128 but then lost another 7 pounds or so.  I was too low to maintain long term too.  128 would be acceptable to me now!!!  After my surgery I was unable to exercise and had only gotten back in to it when I went back to work.  I last tracked in July and I was around 128 then.  I think that is a more realistic weight to maintain for me than 120.  And, I won't have people asking me if I'm sick :).

I am making good choices for my three meals a day but I haven't been exercising and the hours between getting home from school (2:30) and dinner (5:30), I bet I consume an additional 500 calories in junk alone.  So, I'm starting with concentrating on those 3 hours and getting on the treadmill again.

I laughed out loud when you wrote that you dusted off your treadmill!

So, know that I'm in it with you (again).  10 pounds (or 12 :)) by when?  On this site, if I don't say 10 weeks, I'll get blasted!  Fine.  March 14th.  That will correspond with me being done with my coursework too.  Ahhhh, to be done with school and these chub rolls!!!

Happy New Year!
