Entry three

today is day 3 of me following and counting calories. i caught myself trying to shrug it off and saying i didn't need to count calories, that i could just eyeball if something was healthy or not, or guestimate the amount of calories. then i remembered a saying, that you can quit/do anything, it's just the first 3 days that are hard.  why? because everyone wants to jump back to there old habits. so.. here i am 2.5 days later, still got the second half of the day to go. i think i've been doing very well so far, it's fun in the sense that you have to get creative with your meals. i did notice i've been getting tired a little bit more easily, not sure if i've incorporated all the items i need from mypyramid for the day. it could possibly be due to stress. anyways, i realized counting calories is a great start, but i should not rely on diet alone to help me lose weight. i need to be a little bit more active, so i'm setting a goal of burning at least 150 calories per workout, MINIMUM. workout, 3-4 times a week (fits my schedule). anywhoo, i don't want counting calories to become an obsession (i even bought a kitchen scale to measure my food). until next time.
