Entry New Food Plan

Today is day one of the healthy food plan.  I am trying to go by the food pyramid and eat all the good stuff that I am supposed to (6 servings of grain, 2.5 cups of veggies, 1.5 cups of fruit, 3 servings of dairy, and 5 oz of meat).  So far so good today.  I have my entire day planned out. 

The hardest part today was when the guy I sit next to at work came back with a McRib combo.  My mouth started watering when I smelled it.  Then I went and ate my healthy lunch.  It was good and I'm glad I didn't succomb to the urge for french fries.  The only thing is that I have to make and pack the food the night before or I'll be stuck with cafeteria food. 

I am running when I get home today.  I guess I'll do my usual run and see how it goes.  I might kick it up a little today and just see how long I can do 6.5 mph.  6 mph is ok for a mile so maybe I can go back and forth a little.
