Nov 08 2008 22:45

I want to remeber it that's why i am writing it here.So first my hair schedule. Every monday and thurday I will condition it. Then For 2 days in a row I will use White rain shampoo, then on the 3rd day I will use dove, then repeate. Now my skin schedule, every monday and thursday I will do a face cleanser, and my eye firming creame. Then every other day I will wash it with a face cleaner- doesn't matter the brand. Then every day I will put on my anti wrinkle and sunblock on in the morning. And I will use my lip scrub depending on need.I know so interesting, it's alot though so thats why I figured I better write it down.

Gosh you are good! I dont really have a schedule as such but I do use a facewash every morning and sometimes at night. Plus I always put sunblock and moisturiser in morning. New Zealand is directly underneath a hole in the Ozone layer and we burn quickly. I have tried eye creams for my dark circles but nothing really works that well and its expensive! I just use a concealer instead. I have had oily skin since I was a teen but one thing I found worked for me was taking Evening Primose Oil vitamins. My bad skin was an internal thing so no amount of cleansing would fix it.

Hair - well I have been thinking about getting some protective stuff because I have highlights and with summer coming on and swimming in cholrine pools it gets a bit dry and loses the red highlights quick.

Hiya replying to your comment in my journal. The National Party (thats sort of centre-right wing) won the election which is who I voted for so that is good. They are a change from the previous Party that was in government. Only took about 30seconds at the polling booth - it wasn't busy at all.

I know I do a lot of exercise but I have to, to loose the weight. My mum is the same, she and I have to work a bit harder than most people - guess we have slow metabolisms?  My body is not that fabulous -yet! I still have a way to go and the places I put it on are the hardest to shift! My stomach - use to look like I was pregnant with a muffin roll splurging out the top of my jeans. My bum was big too although husband said he liked a bit of the booty. But it was a saggy booty - not attractive.  Plus other things like I had back fat, a bit of a double chin and chubby thighs. Most of it is going now but I have to be careful still. Really i want to get fit too so i can do more events and not come last!

I am quite short, only 5foot and half an inch. I use CC to calc my calories with a sedamentary setting as mostly sit at computer all day. It came back at 1200 which is the minimum and was just too tough for me. So I did a bit of research and did calc using BMR which came in at 1569. I wanted to have a deficit of 500 cals a day so took 250 off 1569 and used this as dailey goal for eating. Then burn meter - if i did nothing all day (i.e just to maintain) would burn 1570 so I added exercise to burn 250+ cals to burn each day. So combined would give deficit of 500 cals a day or target of -3500 a week. This meant a loss for me of about 2 pounds a week. Does that make sense? Anyway I dont religiously count anymore, I know approximatley how much and what I should eat and how much I should burn. I just watch the scales and how clothes fit instead. If I have a cheat I try and do some extra exercise to even it out.

Thanks for your moral support in my journal. It was really appreciated. I know that I am not in too bad a shape and I should be grateful for the weight I have lost. I am just a bit of a perfectionist! I have only got 3.5 pounds left to go until I reach my goal weight but it is proving the toughest pounds to loose! I seem to be fluctuating a bit lately, I loose a bit and then gain a bit. Hower I think it is starting to creep down overall? I want to reach my goal by Xmas if I can, I have this pretty sundress that I got 2 years ago which i have only worn once because I put on too much weight to fit it. I can't wait to try it on for Xmas day - It is summer in our Xmas, we usually have a BBQ on Xmas day! My mum and step-dad are coming to visit which I am looking forward to. My mum (kiwi spelling) has also battled with weight most of her life and is a short thing like me - actually 4ft 11.5 inch! Since retiring from work she has joined the gym and now does about 2 cardio classes a day! Plus she does power walking so she is really getting fit and I am so proud of her. I want to make her proud of me too!
