Had a "fat day" yesterday. I knew I was eating too much as I was doing it... Ugh. Ever get in those moods where you just want to devour everything? It was that. The scale was not really my friend this morning, but I'm hoping if I drink lots of water today and go a bit light on my meals, I'll go back down a little. I mean, some of it has to be water weight.

Oh and yesterday I had my first helpful big weight lifting dude experience. I asked if he was using the squat rack, and he was, just in between sets. He was like, "I'd let you work in, but..." since he was doing standing deadlifts and I wanted to do squats, with very different weight, it would've been a hassle, so I said I didn't mind waiting. Anyway, he finished his sets eventually while I ran a bit to warm up some more, and then I started my squats. After my first set, he came back over and said, "Okay, I tried to walk away, but I can't. You can kick me if I'm annoying you, but you're wasting your time." Basically all he said was that I needed to go lower and stick my "ass" out further, which was true. I wasn't going low enough. I feel like something like this might annoy me some days, but I was in a friendly mood and accepted the help. Plus, I mean he was right. I have some soreness today which is a good thing.

Also... perhaps Lizzie you can comment, I have found that pushups haven't gotten ANY easier for me. Like at all. Is that normal? They are still super difficult, even on an angle.

Pushups are still hard for me too. Like really hard, my arms shake and sometimes I can't push myself back up. I'm in the 3 sets of 8 range so last time I tried doing 1 set of 8 on the ground (man style) and then the last 2 sets on the bench so I suppose that is progress. At this point, I can't imagine doing more than 8 pushups in a row.
