This is my first journal entry, I won't be able to do them every day since I do not have internet access at home.
I would also like to note that I am currently on doing LA Weightloss, which helps me a lot with nutrition. I love the way that they help me set up healthy meals and snacks, not just count calories and have just a few pieces of pizza during the day.
I started LA Weightloss in November of 2004, I fell off the bandwagon when I had some severe issues in my life. In November, 2004 I weighed in at 183-184 and was wearing size 18-20 pants. When I neglected to go back to my weigh-ins there, I gained another 20 pounds (mostly due to traveling for funerals, etc). Now I am back on LA Weightloss and I wish to count calories as well, just so I have two support systems keeping me on track. And they pretty much preach the same thing anyway.
So how about I actually start journaling for the day....
Breakfast:
-Lite wheat bread
-Lite margarine spread
-15 Grapes
Mid-morning
-LA Bar (190 calories)
-Apple
Lunch
-3 cups lettuce (hence, today's title)
-3 oz chicken breast strips (home-grilled, not packaged)
-2 tbsp fat free western dressing
-1 slice alpine lace cheese
-Croutons
Mid-afternoon
-LA Bar
-15 more grapes
What I plan on having for dinner:
-1 more slice of alpine lace cheese
-turkey burger patties
-1 tbsp ketchup
-1/2 cup steamed cauliflower
-I can't beleive it's not butter spray (5 squirts)
-Lite salt
I also plan on running for 45 minutes this afternoon before dinner, and doing Turbo Jam for 45 minutes after. I will make another journal entry with the total calories consumed and spent and the deficit once I figure out how to really work the food and expendiature logs :-)
