Since my trip to Oakville, I seem to have gotten back to normal with my eating. I really fell off the wagon so to speak and gained two pounds but I guess that's to be expected once in awhile....
I've been riding my bike to work and I just went with Jenn and picked up some healthy munchies for those times when I'm feeling deprived. So hopefully this week I'll lose some poundage!!

So Friday night we went to the drive-in and I was totally prepared to take crispy minis and diet pepsi for myself but Cory went and bought me a big bag of Smartfood because he knows I love it and he was trying to be thoughful! I don't knoiw why they call it Smartfood, since its so high in calories and fat!! Oh well I ate about half the bag and then had some doritos and some gatorade...Yikes what was I thinking? Today I ate a wholesome breakfast and then ate only fruits and veggies and a tiny bit of tuna and crackers for the rest of the day. Then....we went to McDonald's for Owen's b-day and I was good in the beginning and only had a garden salad, but then I thought I can have dessert since I ate really well today...600calories later (and that's just the McFlurry) I'm feeling abit of a failure!!
TRomorrow is a new day and I will start over...I did ride my bike to work and took the dogs for a walk this AM so it's not a total loss.

I really feel good about my caloric intake! I have been walking a lot and eating less. I am really trying to stay below 1700 calories a day which is what cc put me at. And for the last week (except for Friday when I ate pecan pie!) I have been at or around 1500 calories. I read somewhere that we need 1500 calories a day to prevent our bodies from going into starvation mode, so that has been my goal! I feel good!!!

I have been weighing myself every Sunday morning but I seem to get anxious by about Thursday! I am dreading the weigh-in because I know if I haven't lost any weight I'll be discouraged to the point of giving up and going back to my old ways of eating unhealthy foods. Any suggestions as to how to overcome my fear of the scales?!
