Well I have taken the plunge, after much deliberation I have bought an Exercise Bike, and a set of weigh scales to see the scale of the problem.
Set the scales and stood on them for the first time in years.
Result; 17st 13.75lb (fully clothed) that's about114 Kg. BMI in the Obese area.
Got home and assembled exercise bike. Gave it a trial run for 10 mins. (Its amazing how long 10 mins seems when you are not doing anything else, will start combining with T.V. watching.)
Afterwards weighed myself with just Boxer shorts on
Result 17st 5lb / 109.9 Kg BMI of 34.8 Obese.
Aim for about 13st / 76kg / BMI 24.
So intentions are start off with 10mins every evening to get my body used to the idea.
Will run like that for a couple of weeks and review.
