the other night i had planned on having soup and crackers for dinner. all was right on track but then... i got really aggravated with my child. After venting for a little while I then started on a rampage for food... a lot of food. I didn't want the soup any longer. I wanted something to EAT! While I really wanted chocolate or pastries or chips I recognized what was going on. I changed my menu from soup to the kids menu at chic-fila. I stayed within my calorie count and felt better for having recognized a trigger for my eating habits.
