Well I have joined weight watchers now.  Maybe I will be more accountable for my life choices and will actually make a difference.  My new job actually reimburses you for joining weight watchers - so what can it hurt.    I am excited and trying to keep track of everything.  I miss coming on line and chatting with everyone.  The new job also has alot stricter policies on internet usage and I have had to councel an employee about internet usage so I think about that everytime I get online.  So I will only be on line for 30 minutes a day and only if I eat in my office.  I miss you all.  But I do love my new job.

I just went and weighed for the first time in a long time.  I am definitely the type of person that needs to keep weighing in weekly or daily without that reminder I apparently get out of control.  I will try to track myself better and I am watching what I eat and starting to exercise more consistently.  When I think about it I should be losing weight but oh well I will keep up the fight.

Goals:  Drink more water, keep walking 3 miles/day, watch what I eat (salads for lunch).  It would be helpful if I could eat supper before 9p.m.!!!  I believe that is my main problem with not being successful at losing the weight.

My 1st week at work!  It is going great.  I love it.  I am really watching what I eat and how much.  I have been walking 3 miles/day.  I have not been able to weigh but I will weigh Friday morning.

My last day here is in one week.  I have been so busy at work trying to train my replacements I haven't had time to journal and I only get to chat a little while of the morning and during lunch. 

BTW - Thats right two people to replace little ol' me - who the CFO treated like sh*t.   I guess my resignation hit her hard in the pocket.  The CEO nearly cried and the CNO and Director of Quality both did cry.  The CEO, CNO, and pretty much everyone else here treated me great and I will miss them.   

I start my new job June 4!  I am sooo excited. 

GOALs:  Walk 3 miles today!

Drink 64oz of water (I have been doing awful with the water lately)

they called back!!!  I have resigned from my current position and will be starting my job in one month!  Yeah.  I am soo excited. 

Weight problems - I have gained about 5 lbs back.  I followed someones advice who said "Rita your weighing tooo often take a break.  You should only weigh once a month."  I only went 2 weeks without weighing I can't imagine what it would have been like if I would have not weighed for an entire month. 

Exercise- I have been doing a lot better walking 2 miles every day and also doing sit ups every day.  Woohoo me. 

Goals:  Get serious about weight loss.

Drink more water.

well I weighed this morning and it was bad.  I have gained back up to 206!!!!  I am very depressed about this.  What a bummer. 

Oh yeah update on job interview - they offered me the position - their first offer was too low, it was what I currently make at my job now, so I declined.  They made a second offer which was still too low - so I declined again.  I have to have enough of an increase to pay the difference in gas money at least and I will be supervising 40 employees vs. currently 10 employees.  The job should pay more than I currently make.  as far as gas money I currently spend $20/wk in gas if I take the other position I will be spending $100/wk in gas.  Not to mention the difference in clothing.  Here I dress business casual there I will need to wear business suit/dresses everyday.  Dry cleaning bill will be through the roof.  I really want this other job and to get away from the current B---- Boss that I have but I still have to financially benefit from the change.  Especially since my expenses are going to increase.  I hope that they call back with another offer closer to what I told them I had to have.

I am back from my camping trip.  It was soooo cold over the weekend.  It is supposed to warm up for next weekend but I am not sure that we will be able to go anywhere.  I will weigh tomorrow and see how much damage I have done over my little mini vacation.  We were so active the entire time and it was freezing cold, everyone was starving the entire time.  We all ate lots of food but we were in constant motion.  so maybe it will equal out.

I just finished my food log - yesterday was bad and today ain't looking any better.  I will start watching that much closer.  I thought I was making healthy choices and they were really bad choices.

Go figure! Humph!!!

Well the scales say 204 again this morning. 

I walked 20 minutes yesterday & did 10 min. on the ab lounge yesterday.  I had 64 oz of water.  I logged my cals.  (actually I will finish logging after I post this) I had a salad for supper so I should be under my cals.  I still feel like I had too much salt.

Goals for today:  No/low salt.  More water.  Exercise.  Log calories.

Last night we had a horrible storm. We had large hail and extreme wind.  We have to call our insurance adjuster today and see about our roof.  The hail and wind knocked off some shingles.  Yesterday the temp. was in the high 70s and this morning I walked outside to the low 40s. Brrrrrr.

stepped on the scale this morning and I have gained 4 lbs back.  It seems like I will never get under the 200 mark.  I am going to use the food log today.  I haven't been using it recently because of lack of time.  I am still have problems getting in enough water.  Of course this could be water weight - I had way too much salt yesterday and not enough water.

Goals: Increase Water -  use foog log - exercise (walk 20 minutes)
