Entry Happy Birthday to the GROUND!
Nov 04 2009 07:26

First off, go look at the new SNL skit: "I threw it on the ground"...freaking hilarious.

Patrick and I texted from 6pm-1am so let's just say things are going good. Wink He's coming back tonight so hopefully I'll see him tonight or tomorrow.  He told me that he was staying with some Marine pre-lim dudes and a bunch of them got caught drinking.  What morons! got caught by the recruiters, which makes a great first impression. They couldn't even leave their rooms because they are being held responsible by the government.

So anyway, scale said 141 this morning.  I think I ended up eating around 1500-1600 calories yesterday thanks to some chocolates that came in the mail with my parent's new carpet. And I didn't go to the gym last night since I was texting with Patrick and I cooked dinner for my Dad.  I figured 2 hours of volleyball was really enough anyhow.

I might go on a run today for the first time in like 3 weeks...lol.  I have a turkey trot on thanksgiving morning so I better start running at least 3 times a week.  I'm either going to try to run to starbucks or the YMCA.  Starbucks is about 3 miles, YMCA is like 3.7.  Oh boy I'm going to die, but at least the weather will be nice. *update* made it to the Ymca in 37 minutes!! not too horrible for not running

*ANOTHER UPDATE* I'm going to Patrick's house after work tonight Innocent

Stuff today:

  • Go on a run (done)
  • Shower (haha this is a given really) -(done)
  • Try and persuade my mom to go shopping? tehe (fail)
  • Work 5:30pm-9:30pm (barely even worth the drive there)
  • Calorie goal: at least 1500-1600

FOOD:

  • 7:30am-9:30am: Coffee!! =50
  • 8:30am: 1 cup kashi golean crunch (190), unsweetened almond milk (30) handful of blueberries (25) 1/2 a banana (50)= 295
  • 11:45am: bourbon chicken (300) coffee yogurt (160)=460
  • 1:45pm: 8 ounces unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop protein powder, 1/2 a banana=190

I have a Turkey Trot the Saturday before Thanksgiving too. How far is yours? Ours you can choose 1m, 5k, 10k, or half. I was planning on registering for the 10k but I've been sick and haven't run in weeks, so I might go for the 5k. Undecided

I haven't been to volleyball in 3 weeks either, so sad! Finally well enough to go tomorrow night. :)

Definitely gonna do the 5k since i haven't been running.  I remember a couple months ago I was thinking "yeah-I'm gonna do the 10k this year!" but it's not looking like that's gonna happen.  Yay! I'm glad your better and can play some vball!

Good luck in your Turkey Trot!  I am running in one as well here in Dallas.  I am doing an 8 miler, but it is on Thanksgiving morning, so it gives me a good excuse to stuff my face afterwards at Thanksgiving dinner!
