Entry A New Start

So here's my goal.  Friday, 2 days from now, is going to start a new beginning on CC.  I had been here for 15 weeks, really got into the site, but due to my inability to control myself in social situations, my weight loss went up and down, up and down for a net loss of only about 5 pounds.  Then guests came, life happened, I stopped keeping track, I started eating and drinking whatever I wanted....etc, etc - you get the idea.  So now I'm ready to get back on track - starting on Friday.  The fridge will be loaded with lots of good healthy foods, the recipes will be selected, the bike tires will be pumped, the gym bag will be packed.  But here's the good news - when I first started this, it was to get into shape enough to do a sprint triathlon over labor day weekend.  I kept putting off signing up, because I guess if I didn't sign up, I didn't have to make the firm final commitment.  Well....I SIGNED UP last week - so it's a go.  I have to start swimming and running more - I've got the biking covered.  So that is what you will see starting on Friday.  Healthy choices, some type of activity on EVERY day (even if it is just taking the dogs for a walk) and getting prepared for the triathlon.  My first time on CC, I didn't journal, so thought I would give it a try this time.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.
